Weight Loss & Updates!

I started wrestling school last week!

I also been working on some of my side by sides for comparison to see how things have gone in the last year to the last 2 years, even with as many set backs as i had due to death in the family, multiple times to many other things I still kept going forward, even if i had to take a few weeks off to grieve and get though everything.

This year so far, in January, I said goodbye for now to Salem as she passed away in my arms taking her last breaths.

Sometimes life can kick us down, even if our legs are a little wobbly as we try to stand tall, those of us around us can help us by being our support beams.

In the start i looked back at some old medical papers, I was pushing 400+ at my heaviest times, today 235. I was over 100 inches in my waist wearing 5-6x clothes in mens now to wearing a XL or L depending on the make, but in womens sizes not mens, to having 40+ inches in my thighs and arms. Thighs today are down to a 21" and arms are 16". Still got a lot of work to do but im ready to keep going and doing it. I carry around now 116lbs of muscle mass, which is exciting, all my progress is! Even the 3 inches I grew in height!

Going from that girl that was made fun in high school, fun of for being in shape doing sports/weight lifting/track to being told no guys would ever want me cause i was such a tomboy. To then gaining 200+lbs after graduation and having guys flock, to who I am now. Not changing only physically but mentally too! There was a lot of work i needed to do with my confidence and self esteem.

Even in 2016 listening to a trainer at planet fitness and gaining 50lbs back in 6 months him telling me to EAT MORE, i didn't give up! I kept going and did my own thing! and to know i wasn't the ONLY person he said that too & same results happened, yeah well hes not at PF anymore lol!

Also My friend Valerie said that said she would cosplay Hellcat when I cosplay She-Hulk.... She-Hulk needs her gains and losses and to meet her goals, so lets do this!

Pic on the left was taken about 3 years ago.
Pic on the right was yesterday before wrestling school.
Ive been stuck with 235lbs for a few months now, i get losses then gains tossed at me in muscle mass, inches lost but then gained putting on muscle, its a endless cycle it seems but this summer marks 3 years of being back on track & I am hoping to be outta the 200s at some point, but its just a number.
I do feel better not only physically but mentally too.
Having the support I do not only from my husband but my friends and rest of my family.
I haven't fallen backwards and given up this time, I am just gonna keep going forward.
Again thanks to all my family and friends for their support
and wrestling friends that inspire me!
With out all of you i wouldn't be where I am today

NWL is no more BUT Metro Pro is coming back & other rambles!

I apologize for the long winded post here but I have to say a few things myself about the news that got dropped yesterday with NWL.

First off I want to say Thank You! To all the amazing talented guys & gals that made wrestling great again and it will continue to be great, that I am sure of!

NWL may have closed their doors but so much is still going to happen, this I am sure of! I saw Metro's post about making a come back, I saw XWC making offers/discounts to help out in which way they can and so forth, so its not the end, not by a long shot!

Joel and I started to go to Metro Pro back in Summer of 2016, never missed a show cause it fell on the Saturdays he was off work. We made posters for The King Brothers, Mike Sydal, Jay Howard and my brain is missing a few. It also opened the door for me to work with Brian Kelley at Missouri Wrestling Revival to do some art for Nathan Redwing, Jon Webb, and Don Cipolla. But this opened the door to us big time thanks to our sister Sar introducing us to Chris & letting us set up a table & promote our comics.

December came and that's when we found out about Major starting NWL, we were super excited to see where things will go from here.

Sadly every Saturday NWL had a show in KC, Joel worked. I worked or had other stuff going on. But I was able to finally catch them when they were at Planet Comicon in April since I was already going to be there. (Joel worked sadly) But I was able to catch up with a lot of my friends I hadn't seen since the Metro show in December.

As the year went on sadly I had to miss more NWL shows due to timing, but it was nice to be able to catch up on their youtube channel and facebook updates of what had been going on and so forth.

Kansas City Comic Con opened their doors in late 2017 to Kansas City Xtreme Wrestling to put on a show there. We had met a few people the year prior when we were still doing our comics when they came over and bought them. At first we though Xtreme wrestling meant tables, chairs and other Xtreme crazy matches reason at first we were like "UM?" and we didn't know anyone that went to their shows to talk to them about it. But thankfully at KCCC we got talking with James & our friend Rene who we hadn't seen since Metro days as well as the wrestlers after the show, one of them was kind enough to give Joel some water cause he was yelling/screaming so much he about lost his voice. We decided that since their shows were falling on Joel's off days to go check them out! We did and had a blast, it also sparked Joel & I into getting back into making posters for wrestlers again.

GWF another wrestling promo started in March, happened to be on Joel's weekends off at the end of the month, started to go to those too. Sadly only one NWL show fell on his day off but thankfully it did cause we were able to go! We were excited to see another coming up soon too but then the bomb dropped of NWL closing its doors but Metro Pro Wrestling opening theirs again!

Its always sad to see when one door closes or when things with schedules get hard to make plans to go places we always love going. But c'est la vie! We made things work the best we could. To go to all the shows we could to support all the wrestling we could being the fans we are! We even have a closet that is nothing but wrestling shirts, mainly from the indy's not just here in KC but other states also, and of course WWE, but who do you know has a closet of nothing but wrestling shirts? Now you do know someone

Again thank you Major and all the talented men and women out there. For everything. Thank you to KCXW MPW and GWF for everything too. I am still excited to see where things are going to go from here.

You guys and gals have inspired me to get on track with my weight loss over the last 2.5 years, im 3lbs away last i checked in being 170lbs lost, ive lost almost 70 inches in my waist, you guys and gals also inspired me to tryout & take classes here soon to become a ref as well as wrestling manager. (Bit to old to do the wrestling thing lol)

So here is a huge again THANK YOU from me to all of you, without all of you wrestling isn't what it is today here in KC. My goals of ref/manager and cosplaying She-Hulk would of been just a pipe dream but is some day going to be reality.

I love all of you, thank you  and thank you for reading my rambles I just hope its okay and it made sense, im never good at these things lol

Wrestling will continue to be amazing here in KC, you can count on it!
So lets work together and make it so!

My thoughts on Wrestlemania 34

WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal &  Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal ....... They were okay, I am not much of a person for Battle Royals, 3 way matches and so forth. Tag Team Matches, 1vs1's I enjoy a lot more personally.

Cruiserweight Championship - Was a brilliant well done match, no complaints here!

Raw Tag Team Championship -- The Bar (c) vs. Braun Strowman &  TBD - Meh, no comment here really, rumors are going around saying Braun's partner was one of the kids of someone, we thought it was maybe make a wish. But no words yet on, but again no really comment on this one.

SmackDown Tag Team Championship -- The Usos (c) vs. The New Day vs. The Bludgeon Brothers &  Randy Orton (c) vs. Bobby Roode vs. Jinder Mahal vs. Rusev - Honestly didnt' catch most of these ones, was chatting with people

Intercontinental Championship -- The Miz (c) vs. Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor - Again not much for these kinds of matches but I was rooting for Finn.

Daniel Bryan &a  Shane McMahon vs. Kevin Owens &  Sami Zayn - meh, like all these guys don't get me wrong, loved seeing Daniel back in the ring. But i was kinda in and outta this match since I was talking lol

Raw Women's Championship -- Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Nia Jax - This match up was a joke, im not sorry for saying this, But Nia is a smash and grabby wrestler, she barely does any actual wrestling holds/moves. Ive seen her almost drop some of the ladies on their heads cause of botched moves and so forth. You can clearly see Alexa was carrying the whole match. It was just awful overall. They should of put this match up where Asuka's and Charlotte's was. It didn't deserve to be that high on the card, just like Nia winning the belt. I think shes only still there cause of her name & family tbh, she does need a lot more training.

Someone grab her a damn tissue !!
SmackDown Women's Championship -- Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Asuka - Solid match up here, one of my dream matches that has come true, no complains but it needing to be up the card some more. Well done by both ladies.

John Cena challenges The Undertaker, again - Pretty awesome, seems Undertaker isn't gonna retire til hes 6ft under himself. I love Undertaker but he needs to just rest

Ronda Rousey & Kurt Angle vs. Stephanie McMahon & Triple H - Was a interesting match up, No real complaints tbh.

WWE Championship -- AJ Styles (c) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura - Great Solid match up, I knew it would be seeing past matches. Only thing was when Shinsuke pinned AJ got the 3 count but match never ended. It was like um.......? What? I don't recall it being a 2/3 falls match up. So whats the deal? Either way, great and solid.

Universal Championship -- Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Roman Reigns: Interesting match up imho. Not liking the bloody finish. But I can't really complain.

Entrances were amazing
All the flashy stuff of course
Best match of the night for me thoughCharlotte Flair vs Asuka

GWF Live - March 2018!

Joel & I went to GWF tonight.
Had a blast hanging out with friends!
Here is just a few of many photos!
