RIP Grandpa ~ 4-7-1914 to 12-29-2007

I found out on Friday my grandpa had a mild heart attack and he also had pumonia and fluid on his lungs, they took a tube and tried to drain the fluid. My cuz Paul told me this on Friday night. He also said the docs said if he makes it though the first 24 - 48 hrs he will be alright, and he was opening his eyes when he left to come home.

I woke up to my father in law calling for me at 6am Saturday morning, my cuz Paul was on the phone and the first words to come from him where, "He's gone Tina, Grandpa's gone"

At first I was like Wa? In shock and just waking up not a good combo. He told me again and thats when I called out " Noooo " and started crying. My husband was on his way home from work at this point so I couldn't call him. So I sat and talked with Paul, we talked a bit about our childhood and how much fun we had with Grandpa. Memories we wont forget.

I sat around yesterday after I got off the phone with Paul, I jump'd in game for a bit on City Of Heroes. I had everyone chattin with me and did some teaming. To help me pass the time while I wait to find out the news of what's what tomarrow.

I am now gonna write a letter to my grandpa, things I have told him over the years but I wanted to write it again. I just feel like the need to get it out again.

Thanks to everyone that reads this, now I leave you with the letter.

Dear Grandpa,

I know over the years I have told you how much you mean to me. Yes you are my Grandfather but to me your more, your the father I have always wanted in life, I am proud your my grandfather but to me your also my father and for that I am even proud to call you dad. The years you raised me with grandma are ones I will never forget and the best years of my childhood. Grandma always tells me, " Your not only our grand-daughter but to us you are our daughter as well, and we will always love you. " I also remember when Little Paul and I used to play for hours in the yard and get dirty, the good old days when we caused so much trouble but you still loved us all the same.

As I will always love you Grandpa as I do Grandma too, you and grandma have always been the world to me and you still are, you both watched over me even when it was from a distance, and you still do. Even when I wasn't close by we always called one another day or night. I will always have great memories, I know we all will, ones that will never leave us. Your not gone Grandpa and your never gonna be forgotton, you are missed, but to me your still here, your the angel that stands behind me and will guide me the right direction, on where I need to go in life. As you will also be everyone else's angel too.

I will always love you Grandpa, you have been the best dad in the world, to me and to everyone, we will always love you.

Love always,
Your Grand-daughter & Daughter,

Tina

Yule Lore

Yule Lore (December 21st)

Yule, (pronounced EWE-elle) is when the dark half of the year relinquishes to the light half. Starting the next morning at sunrise, the sun climbs just a little higher and stays a little longer in the sky each day. Known as Solstice Night, or the longest night of the year, much celebration was to be had as the ancestors awaited the rebirth of the Oak King, the Sun King, the Giver of Life that warmed the frozen Earth and made her to bear forth from seeds protected through the fall and winter in her womb. Bonfires were lit in the fields, and crops and trees were "wassailed" with toasts of spiced cider.

Children were escorted from house to house with gifts of clove spiked apples and oranges which were laid in baskets of evergreen boughs and wheat stalks dusted with flour. The apples and oranges represented the sun, the boughs were symbolic of immortality, the wheat stalks portrayed the harvest, and the flour was accomplishment of triumph, light, and life. Holly, mistletoe, and ivy not only decorated the outside, but also the inside of homes. It was to extend invitation to Nature Sprites to come and join the celebration. A sprig of Holly was kept near the door all year long as a constant invitation for good fortune to pay visit to the residents.

The ceremonial Yule log was the highlight of the festival. In accordance to tradition, the log must either have been harvested from the householder's land, or given as a gift... it must never have been bought. Once dragged into the house and placed in the fireplace it was decorated in seasonal greenery, doused with cider or ale, and dusted with flour before set ablaze be a piece of last years log, (held onto for just this purpose). The log would burn throughout the night, then smolder for 12 days after before being ceremonially put out. Ash is the traditional wood of the Yule log. It is the sacred world tree of the Teutons, known as Yggdrasil. An herb of the Sun, Ash brings light into the hearth at the Solstice.

A different type of Yule log, and perhaps one more suitable for modern practitioners would be the type that is used as a base to hold three candles. Find a smaller branch of oak or pine, and flatten one side so it sets upright. Drill three holes in the top side to hold red, green, and white (season), green, gold, and black (the Sun God), or white, red, and black (the Great Goddess). Continue to decorate with greenery, red and gold bows, rosebuds, cloves, and dust with flour.

Deities of Yule are all Newborn Gods, Sun Gods, Mother Goddesses, and Triple Goddesses. The best known would be the Dagda, and Brighid, the daughter of the Dagda. Brighid taught the smiths the arts of fire tending and the secrets of metal work. Brighid's flame, like the flame of the new light, pierces the darkness of the spirit and mind, while the Dagda's cauldron assures that Nature will always provide for all the children.

So in closure, here is my article!
have a good one!

Wait Just a Minute!
Stop for a Moment and Give Thanks!

Being in the food industry since high school, my career has gone to beauty retail as a manager. When I moved to the United States and started working in retail, I noticed how fast we move from Halloween to Christmas with no in between, no time to enjoy Thanksgiving. I have come to remind you there is a Thanksgiving, a time to be thankful for a lot of things, and most of all, a time to be spent with family and friends.

I could sit here and write out the history of Thanksgiving, but you know as well as I do that there is no point in me doing so. I am sure everyone knows already. I am going to list the top five Thanksgiving traditions followed by some recipes instead.

Top Five Thanksgiving Traditions

Turkey and Trimmings
From the first Thanksgiving to today's turkey burgers, turkeys are an American tradition dating back for centuries. According to the Turkey Federation, 95% of Americans eat turkey at Thanksgiving. There are so many different ways to enjoy a turkey now, such as coffee rubbed turkey from Hawaii, salt encrusted turkey from New England, deep fried turkey from the South, and last but not least, oven roasted. How you choose to make your turkey is up to you.

Time Out for the Pigskin
Yes I am talking FOOTBALL, one of my favorite sports to watch now and again, and another tradition on Thanksgiving. Remember the first intercollegiate football championship held on Thanksgiving Day back in 1876? No? Well, the traditional holiday football rivalries have become so popular that a reporter once called Thanksgiving "a holiday granted by the State and the Nation to see a game of football."

Parading Around
The first American Thanksgiving Day parade was held in 1920, organized by Gimbel's Department store in Philadelphia—not Macy's as most people think. The NYC Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade tradition actually started in 1924 and has grown since then. More then 46 million people each year watch it in person or on TV.

Making a Wish
Who fights over the wishbone? I sure do! Everyone wants to make that wish!

Giving Thanks
Thanksgiving is about giving thanks for the people that are around you and everything you have or have accomplished over the past year. Some folks even do pre-meals for the homeless or help out at shelters for the holidays to help those in need. This holiday is truly a celebration of praise and thanks.

LadyK came to me, and asked me if I would be interested in helping her out with the foodie section for the Scoop. I told her that I sure would love to. I look forward to doing more of this, and as we get closer to Christmas time, I have a bunch of stuff running though my head to write, and I am sure LadyK does as well. We are going to put out heads together, so stay tuned, folks, you won’t wanna miss out!

Now for what everyone’s been waiting for: RECIPES!
I listed the two most common recipes people look for on Thanksgiving—turkey and pumpkin pie. Take a look, and try them out! Enjoy!

Oven Roasted Turkey

1 (12 pound) whole turkey, neck and giblets removed
1/2 cup butter, cubed
2 apples, cored and halved
1 tablespoon garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
2/3 (750 milliliter) bottle champagne

Sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Place turkey in a roasting bag, and pour champagne over the inside and outside of the bird.

Close bag, and place turkey in a roasting pan.

Bake turkey 3 to 3 1/2 hours in the preheated oven, or until the internal temperature is 180 degrees F (85 degrees C) when measured in the meatiest part of the thigh. Remove turkey from bag, and let stand for at least 20 minutes before carving.

Remembrance Day/Veterans Day

In Flanders Fields
by John McCrae, May 1915

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep,
though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

Inspiration for the Poem
On 2 May, 1915, in the second week of fighting during the Second Battle of Ypres Lieutenant Alexis Helmer was killed by a German artillery shell. He was a friend of the Canadian military doctor Major John McCrae. It is believed that John began the draft for his famous poem 'In Flanders Fields' that evening.

Food Poisioning Sucks!

Well Saturday Night I ordered Pizza Hut wing street wings.
I usually order them, I get the spicy asian or sometimes the honey BBQ, or sometimes just plain, but the other nite I was watching TV and the garlic cheese one looked yummy.
They where okay.. was not so crazy about them
I went to bed after playing some City of heroes with some friends, I then woke up around 6am.. Burped a few times and laid back down, didn't think anything of it until I ran to the bathroom and got really sick :(
Hubby came home and usually he goes into the bedroom and pokes at me and says good morning but this time he got confused and started looking for me.
I got sick so much the back of my throat started bleeding
It was gross :(

It finally stopped and I laid down and fell asleep for another few hrs, I then tried to get up and call my boss to explain the situation, I felt bad enough as it was cause I was sick and I knew we had a huge floorset, I still feel bad but I know these things happen its just well.. you know...
Anyways I couldn't even keep my eyes open for a moment to call her so hubby did for me, he said she didn't sound to happy but there is nothing you can do when ur sick.
I then dozed back off for a few more hrs, woke up and ate some crackers and got some pepto.
Fell back asleep for another 8hrs....
Yeah so overall in about a almost 60 hour period I slept think it was just over 40 hours...
Thats a very long time and you know I am still tried >_<

Today my boss calls, I know shes wanting me to come into work but my stomach is still trying to recover over this, I still feel pretty bad and I feel upset cause they where there late on Sunday but you know people do get sick, and everyone keeps telling me that, I had no control that these things do happen to don't let my boss get to me, just feel better and thats what I am trying to do but It's hard when I got my boss saying I hurt my shoulder Sunday night and we where all here pretty late... and I was here from 5am Sunday morning (okay thing is the store don't open until noon) anyways ya lay a freaken guilt trip! This is why I quit my other jobs... I HATE places that do this!

Then she says I need a doctors note...
I havn't been to the doctors since I moved to the states for a total pysical almost 3 years ago... um so yeah...
Plus I am off today, and yesterday, and tomarrow >_<
I only missed ONE day of work.... ONE!
Usually you need a doctors note after 2...

Yeah lets go to a doctor and say, " I got food poisoning and I missed work Sunday and I was feeling pretty bad Monday and part of Tuesday and I am feeling okay now, thing is today and yesterday and tomorrow are my days off work but my boss wants a doctors note "

The doctor is gonna turn around and go... " I am sorry but if you where sick why didn't you come in "

Me: " I never go to the docs unless I really really have too and this is something that can get over pretty easy without one "

Doctor " Okay, well thing is your not sick now so... and your on your days off we can't issue one, your boss is blowing smoke "

DUH!

Retards, I am so mad right now it's killing my stomach more, no clinic in there right mind wont give a doctors note unless they treat you in my case I am getting better so they are just gonna laugh at me :(

Anyways I am going to go back to trying to eat something and get better, stupid work.

MRSA

I heard about this today at work, thought I do a bit of looking around and get information for you my friends and family for you guys to be careful and stay safe and stay healthy!

I love ya all very much and want ya all to stay alright and stuff :)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What you should know about Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus
What is Staphylococcus Aureus?

Staphylococcus aureus (SA) is a very common bacteria that can be found in about 3 out of 10 healthy people. Most of the time, it lives harmlessly in the nose or in other warm, moist areas on the body. Most people don't know that they are carrying it and are usually completely healthy. In certain circumstances, SA can cause infections.

What is Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA)?

Methicillin refers to a group of antibiotics that are usually used to treat SA. Some SA bacteria are no longer killed by these antibiotics and are called methicillin resistant. Over the past 30 years, more types of bacteria have become resistant to commonly used antibiotics. This makes infections caused by these germs more difficult to treat. MRSA is often referred to as a 'super bug', but that is a false name because we still have antibiotics that can be used to treat it.

All bacteria are able to learn how to resist antibiotics. As we use antibiotics more and more, the bacteria are becoming more resistant. This is an ongoing battle, and the battle will continue.

The good news is that even when the bacteria are able to resist some of the antibiotics, there is no reason to believe that they are more likely to cause infection. We live in harmony with most bacteria, and we live with them all the time. Good hand washing and other basic hygiene practices help us keep problematic bacteria in check.

Who gets MRSA?

Persons who are patients in acute care hospitals and residents of long-term care facilities, who have open wounds, catheters or tubes, and those who are very ill, are most likely to get MRSA.

How is MRSA spread?

The most common way MRSA spreads from person to person is by direct contact with a person that is carrying (or colonized) with this bacteria , usually with their hands. A much less common way of MRSA being spread is by direct contact with surfaces like railings, faucets, or handles that may have been contaminated by an 'colonized person' hands. Spreading through the air is very uncommon.

What is The Ottawa Hospital doing to stop the spread of MRSA?

When patients with MRSA are identified, the hospital tries to prevent the bacteria from spreading to other patients. Patients, who may be at risk for MRSA, are screened when they are admitted to the hospital. The patients who are found to carry the bacteria, are separated from other patients by placing them either in a single room, or in a room with another patient who already is known to have this bacteria.

Staff and family members who come in contact with them must follow strict rules such as washing their hands frequently and wearing a mask, gown and gloves in the room Meanwhile, antibiotics may be given to them to try to kill the bacteria if this is determined to be the best approach. These patients will continue to be screened regularly. Precautions will stop if the patient is found to be MSRA free for more than three weeks. However, testing for it will continue to make sure that the bacteria does not come back.

How can you prevent MRSA infections?

The best way to prevent infections of all kinds is good personal hygiene:

wash hands frequently and thoroughly with soap and water for 10-15 seconds or use alcohol based gel;
avoid sharing personal articles such as cups, towels and toothbrushes;
clean and protect wounds promptly; and
cover your mouth when coughing or sneezing.
What should you do if MRSA is found in your nose or on your skin?

You should talk with your family doctor. If you feel healthy, you may not need any treatment. You do not pose a health risk to your family, co-workers, or the general public and you should continue with your normal activities. It is important for you to wash your hands regularly. Using an antibacterial hand soap or alcohol based gel may help stop you from spreading MRSA when touching surfaces with your hands.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What is an Antibiotic Resistant Germ?

When someone has an infection, antibiotics are medicines that are used to kill the germ (bacteria) causing the infection. An antibiotic resistant germ is not killed by the usual antibiotics. If an antibiotic resistant germ causes an infection, then a stronger drug must be used.

What is MRSA?

Staphylococcus aureus is bacteria that lives on human skin and it can also live in the nose. The usual antibiotic used to treat infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus is called methicillin. Some strains of Staphylococcus aureus are not killed by methicillin and are said to be methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA)

Can it be harmful?

Staphylococcus aureus is a normal germ which does not harm people and is needed to keep people healthy. In hospital, if any germ gets into a wound or the bloodstream it could cause an infection. When a person has an infection with MRSA it can be difficult to treat because the usual antibiotics can’t get rid of it.

How did I get MRSA?

People who are in hospitals or nursing homes get MRSA. It is spread by contact with the hands. Care givers can unknowingly transmit the germ during routine activities and procedures between patients.

Why are special precautions needed?

Special precautions are needed in order to prevent the spread of this organism to other patients in the hospital who are also ill and therefore more likely to develop an infection.

What will be different?

· you will need to stay in your room

· people who are taking care if you will wear gowns and gloves to prevent them from picking up the MRSA and from taking it to other patients

· it is very important for all staff and visitors to wash their hands when they come in and when they leave your room

· signs will be placed outside the room to remind everyone about the special precautions

· if you need to go to another part of the hospital for tests or treatments, you must wash your hands before you leave your room

· please wash your hands carefully after going to the bathroom

What about family and visitors?

You may still have visitors. They must wash their hands when they come in and when they leave. They must put on gowns and gloves too.

What will happen when I leave the Hospital?

If you go to another health care facility or of you have services from Home Care, some precautions may still be taken. This is to prevent your care givers from picking up the germ and spreading it to other patients. Good hand washing is very important to reduce the risk of spread.

What about at home?

If your family and friends do not look after other sick people, there is no need to worry.

MRSA is no more dangerous than other normal bacteria that people carry on their skin and are exposed to every day. Remind everyone to wash their hands often. You should wash your hands after you go to the bathroom, touch you nose or a wound.

Will this go away?

It might go away on its own, but you Doctor and Infection Control may order an antibiotic cream to put into your nose and on any wounds you might have. This should be used 3 times a day for 1 week. Also, you may wash your body with a special liquid soap. This will help to get rid of the MRSA faster.

After finishing using the cream and soap, cultures will be taken of your nose, rectum and any wounds for a few weeks. After there are 3 sets that do not show MRSA, you can come out of isolation. If you are still in the hospital you will be checked regularly to make sure you still do not have MRSA.

How can I help?

If you go to another Doctor or to another Hospital please tell your Doctor and Nurse or other care giver you were once on special precautions for MRSA. This will allow them to check your status to make sure that they don’t carry the organism to other patients.

What if I am admitted to the hospital again?

On any future admissions to the hospital, you may be placed in a single room and special precautions will be taken. Swabs of your nose, rectum and any wounds will be taken to make sure there is no MRSA. Even if special precautions are not being followed, we may keep you in a private room and check regularly to make sure that the MRSA does not come back.

Samhain Lore (October 31st)

Samhain, (pronounced SOW-in, SAH-vin, or SAM-hayne) means "End of Summer", and is the third and final Harvest. The dark winter half of the year commences on this Sabbat.

It is generally celebrated on October 31st, but some traditions prefer November 1st. It is one of the two "spirit-nights" each year, the other being Beltane. It is a magical interval when the mundane laws of time and space are temporarily suspended, and the Thin Veil between the worlds is lifted. Communicating with ancestors and departed loved ones is easy at this time, for they journey through this world on their way to the Summerlands. It is a time to study the Dark Mysteries and honor the Dark Mother and the Dark Father, symbolized by the Crone and her aged Consort.

Originally the "Feast of the Dead" was celebrated in Celtic countries by leaving food offerings on altars and doorsteps for the "wandering dead". Today a lot of practitioners still carry out that tradition. Single candles were lit and left in a window to help guide the spirits of ancestors and loved ones home. Extra chairs were set to the table and around the hearth for the unseen guest. Apples were buried along roadsides and paths for spirits who were lost or had no descendants to provide for them. Turnips were hollowed out and carved to look like protective spirits, for this was a night of magic and chaos. The Wee Folke became very active, pulling pranks on unsuspecting humans. Traveling after dark was was not advised. People dressed in white (like ghosts), wore disguises made of straw, or dressed as the opposite gender in order to fool the Nature spirits.

This was the time that the cattle and other livestock were slaughtered for eating in the ensuing winter months. Any crops still in the field on Samhain were considered taboo, and left as offerings to the Nature spirits. Bonfires were built, (originally called bone-fires, for after feasting, the bones were thrown in the fire as offerings for healthy and plentiful livestock in the New Year) and stones were marked with peoples names. Then they were thrown into the fire, to be retrieved in the morning. The condition of the retrieved stone foretold of that person's fortune in the coming year. Hearth fires were also lit from the village bonfire to ensure unity, and the ashes were spread over the harvested fields to protect and bless the land.

Various other names for this Greater Sabbat are Third Harvest, Samana, Day of the Dead, Old Hallowmas (Scottish/Celtic), Vigil of Saman, Shadowfest (Strega), and Samhuinn. Also known as All Hallow's Eve, (that day actually falls on November 7th), and Martinmas (that is celebrated November 11th), Samhain is now generally considered the Witch's New Year.

Symbolism of Samhain:
Third Harvest, the Dark Mysteries, Rebirth through Death.

Symbols of Samhain:
Gourds, Apples, Black Cats, Jack-O-Lanterns, Besoms.

Herbs of Samhain:

They Call Me Crazy!

Mm-ma-ma mara
Mm-ma-ma-ma
Mm-ma-Mm mara
Mm-ma-Mm
Ma-ma-a.

Mm-ma-ma mara
Mm-ma-ma-ma-ma
Ma-ma-ma.

Taking pictures with honeys
Spending all mo-mo-money
If you want it so badly
Then why don't you say so, lady.

You'll be hurt if you'll kiss me
You gotta gotta believe me
But if you want it so badly
Then why don't you say so, lady.

And If you'd wanna take it back
You don't wanna take it back
You don't wanna take it back, my love
Don't you wanna love?
Babe, you don't wanna take it back
Don't wanna take it back
Back, back, back.

They call me Crazy Loooop
Gotta gotta be crazy loooop
Gotta get a life
Oh, mom, I've tried

Gotta gotta be lonely-lon-lon-lon.

Mommy’s essentials

These items must be in your bag, or you’re bound for trouble!

* Hospital or insurance card.

* 2 bras (breastfeeding bras, for those who intend to nurse).

* 6-8 pairs of underwear (you can leave the frillier ones at home—you’ll probably end up staining a lot of them).

* 2 or 3 night gowns or pyjamas that button at the front (great when nursing)

* A warm bathrobe.

* Comfortable slippers and sandals.

* Sanitary napkins (some are especially designed for new mothers).

* Toothbrush and toothpaste, soap, shampoo, hair brush, deodorant, contact lens case and solution (if needed) and hair dryer.

* Clothing to wear when you leave the hospital.

For mommy’s comfort

Don’t forget these items: they’ll make your stay at the hospital a lot easier and are bound to pick your mood up…

* A thermal water atomizer (Evian, Vichy, etc.) will be nice and refreshing during labour, since you won’t be able to drink.

* A few bottles of water, some fruit, and a few granola bars (for when you get the munchies after giving birth).

* A small pouch containing your favourite makeup items for when you leave the hospital.

* A good facial moisturizer and lip balm (childbirth will cause your body to be very dehydrated and your lips are bound to chap).

* A comfortable pillow.

* A bottle of non-greasy massage oil (for when your man offers himself to rub your back and feet).

* A breastfeeding cushion.

* A bottle of hand-sanitizer (such as Purell).

For mommy’s entertainment

Despite the frequent visits from friends and family, you’ll probably have several moments of quiet when you may feel the need to relax a bit.

* An mp3 or CD player (with your favourite CDs).

* A few easy reads (such as magazines, short novels, etc.).

* A camera (don’t forget batteries and some film or an extra memory card).

* A list of people you’ll want to call to tell the good news (and their numbers).

* A pen and notebook (so you can jot down any important info or tips from your doctor and nurses during your stay—it’s hard to remember everything).

* Make sure to have some small change on you (to use in vending machines, public phones, etc.)

Baby’s essentials

These are the last items on our list, but definitely not the least… Make sure you’re not missing anything for your beautiful newborn.

* 5 pyjamas (at least one that’s a little bit bigger than the others—hey, you never know!)

* 5 newborn bodysuits.

* Diapers (some hospitals provide them, but it’s quite rare).

* 1 pacifier.

* An outfit for the trip home (take the weather into account).

* A warm blanket.

* 4 bibs (to protect baby’s clothes).

* Socks.

* A cotton bonnet.

* 3 small towels (to put on your shoulder when burping your baby).

* Baby soap and shampoo or a bottle of baby wash.

* A pair of small mittens (to keep him or her from scratching her face).

With all the above-mentioned items in tow, you should be just about ready for the big day.
Good luck!

Tips For Homeowners to Conserve on Heating Bills

Insulate walls, ceilings and floors as required. Savings in fuel costs in a well insulated home over an uninsulated home will pay for the cost of proper insulation in a few years.

Install storm windows and storm doors. These items of good quality and properly installed are a major factor in fuel savings as the reduce both heat transmission and air leakage.
Caulk all cracks around door and window frames and at the foundation.
If storm window and doors are not installed, use good weatherstripping to reduce air leakage.

Close outside doors promptly and securely.

Keep doors of an attached garage closed.

If the garage is heated, maintain the temperature at about 40F.

If the basement is to be heated, or there is no insulation in the floor above the basement, insulate the walls and seal cracks at the foundation, windows and doors. If possible install storm sash.

If the house is built over a crawl space, make sure the ventilating grills are closed and air tight during the heating season. Insulate the walls of the crawlspace if possible.

Closing the damper in the room with the thermostat can cause the rest of the house to overheat.

Lower the thermostat settings in unoccupied areas and close doors to those areas. A 10% setback overnight will save fuel.

For best performance a thermostat should be located on an inside wall where it will not be affected by sunlight. Do not locate on an outside wall, on a chimney wall, over a radiator or in direct drafts.

Keep the windows closed and locked when not opened for ventilation.
Close the fireplace damper when the fireplace is not in use. With the damper open, the warm air in the room will be drawn up the chimney. Install a set of glass doors on the fireplace which can be closed when the fireplace is not in use or when the fire is very small.

Have your heating equipment serviced and kept in top working condition. A dirty furnace wastes fuel.

Insulate heating pipes or ducts in an exposed or unheated space.
Make sure inspection doors and cleanout openings on your furnace are closed. Prevent air leakage into the combustion chamber.

If an automatic draft regulator is supplied on the flue pipe, make sure the damper swings freely.

Replace or repair hot water faucets if they drip. Always close securely after use.
Do not let carpeting block the bottom air opening of a baseboard heating unit.
Periodically examine the fins on the pipe inside the baseboard heating enclosures. If they have a lot of lint or other material on them that will restrict air flow vacuum or otherwise clean them.

A major source of air infiltration into homes is through wall outlets and switches. To stop the infiltration, install wall plate gaskets and safety plug covers.

For Those Of You Asking ....

Here it is!
How my hubby & I met!

*** I got married On Valentines day 2005 To my wonderful husband! Who I love very much.. We met on a online game back in September of 2004 thanks to our awesome friend we met in game as well! & City Of heroes * The Game * But it was funny cause at that time he was playing a female charter as most men do. Reason why? I don't know most do because they say they rather watch a female characters ass running then a males which I could understand. But it was funny because I thought he was a chick =oP Opps! My bad?! Its funny cause he is another me and i am another him just the male female difference and everyone says and agrees ... hehe ... I'm so happy and yet so spoiled he is to of course.

Well one day after months and months of talking daily 2-4-6-8+ hrs a day on the chat and phone he had said that he would buy me a bus ticket to come the USA to visit and told that he loved me once again.. he secretly planned to purpose to me on Valentines day over dinner I didn't know this at all! ... But I didn't matter I was taking that bus! So I then jumped on the bus and headed over the border. Well before I did I called everyone I could get ahold of to say goodbye and that I would be back soon. Most I got ahold of thought I was OUT OF MY MIND! Well I called my best friend because I knew if i left and didn't say bye and something happened she would find some way to hunt me down and strangle me herself. But sadly at that time I got the machine. So I left a msg. Well it sucked anyways because when I got to the border I didn't know about all the proper paperwork. Usually when i went to the USA all i needed was my birth certificate little did i know i needed rent receipts, work statements etc to prove i was coming back to Canada.. Because after 9/11 It got more strict. Well when we looked to see what I needed to cross on the government website all it said was birth certificate... BUT! The Website wasn't UPDATED I was informed in quite sometime! But they where just doing there jobs I understand and I am not worried. =)

Well when I got back into Canada I called him from a payphone crying cause I wanted him to know what had happened. Well I was downtown in my city tears frozen to my face because it was WAY BELOW 0 degrees at this time. He told me, " Don't worry get home where its warm and I love you and that we will get though this." We talked for a few hours after a while when i got home on the phone AFTER my roommate went to work. He said he was going to see about taking a 20hr bus ride to come up and see me. I told him he was crazy! But I knew he was crazy for me! hehe =) as i was crazy for him and we are still crazy but anyways ... We then went to bed and i woke up the next day to a msg on my PC saying " Gone 2 dads to see about a rental car " Then my friend that i met in game msg'd me and told me he was planning to drive up to Canada to see me and he wouldn't leave without me. I was like OMG okay.... She said, " If this/that isn't true love I don't know what is Chickie."

So sure enough when he got back he messaged me and told me he got a car. I told him okay. Drive safe, Love you and all that good mushy stuff. =) So he drove 14hrs to come spend the weekend with me then try to take me back to the USA to meet his parents. Well on the weekend I showed him around town. We had fun. We went out to dinner with my 2 best friends we did a bunch of things. =) Then the one night in the hotel room he says lets get married Monday since it's Valentines day and all... I didn't know what to say but YES! I know we talked about it before but it seemed so right for the both of us because of the timing and because we are so much in love. Then he said, "Valentines Day I sure wont forget our anniversary now! And if I do you can kick my ass." I started laughing. Well after we got married we said our last goodbyes and headed for the border and from there it was a long 14hr drive back. We stopped to visit our friend that we met in game for the first time and her daughter and her husband then after we left. We then looked on happy and excited to see what would happen next and sure enough! We get allot of excitement everyday!

Post 577 Since October 2004!

Yes I am a geek but yup thats how many posts I have had Since I started blogger 3 years ago....

ANYWAYS!

I am finally back online!
I know it's only been a day but what a day it was!

Sunday night I headed to bed about 11pm
I tossed and turned for hours and hours....
It totally sucked cause I knew I had to be at work for noon on Monday
Finally by 5am still tossing in turning I then decided to get up and start cleaning and repositioning the living room and spare room, since hubby's dad's house finally sold he is moving his stuff in between today and wed.
So when hubby got home from work at 6:30am he just looked at me cleaning away got changed from work and came to help.
FINALLY
About 10am I was like omg I am gonna fall over....
I took a nap from 10-11 and then got up showered and went to work
Yeah that sucked cause when i got to work there was 65 boxes of shipment
When I got done work I was so wanting to go home like NOW!
But instead I went to hubby's dads house to bring some blankets and stuff downstairs (In my heels and stuff cause I haven't changed from work) Then took a seat while the guys took the bed down and put it in the truck and other things.
Then FINALLY was able to go home, poor hubby been up for 24hrs before he fell asleep
I was so happy to get home, I figured pizza was the easy way last nite that way there was left overs for lunch today, the place was such a mess and I was so tired I didn't wanna cook.
So that was that.
Today I was off work thankfully but dang so much to do.
Tomorrow they don't need me which is GREAT!
Hubby and I can finish the last few boxes then RELAX
Then things can go back to being NORMAL as they can be anyways, lol.
Well time for a City OF Heroes fix, oh how I have missed my friends and playing...
yeah.. I am a geek =P
One thing that does need to go away though is this baseball size knot in my back :(

OH! forgot, my Sailor Moon Box Set II is finally here!
YAY!
Now i have all the Sailor Moon series but live action, now to hunt that down :)

Tim Hortons

Wow, reading Yahoo news today I found out a few things about the place I worked for ... for 4 years....
It was a crappy place to work, treated people like crap, they prolly still do, reason why many people I know quit.
Well now.....
Tim Hortons has 2,733 restaurants in Canada and 345 in the United States as of July 1.
Go figure...
It's a nice place and you will get some people that are really great towards there customers and stuff....
As for the owners most I know from experience got there fingers up there ass and wipe there ass with the bills they make and don't care.
I worked for one of them.
Ah well..
I do miss my timmies coffee and earl grey tea
I used to make all the cookies and other baked goods for them
Funny how in City of heroes I'm known as the cookie mistress and i used to bake cookies for a living and other baked goods b4 I went to retail in beauty supplies as a manager :)
It's all good
Today just thought I post a Lil rant, history if you wanna call it, and I'm happy right now with my life and the job i have being a manager it's fun still so far :)
Well time for breakfast and to watch Sailor Moon & spend time with hubby :)

My Boobs!

Hello!

My Boobs, my boobs
My boobs are ok
My Boobs, my boobs
My boobs are ok

I'm lazy, admit it, work is not for me
Busy doing nothing
I'm a beauty queen
I don't cook, I don't clean
They do it for me
I'm such a stupid girl

I keep my religion in a Gucci purse
Oh my god, I just forgot the rest of this verse
Who cares? I never passed junior high
It was so hard!
So what?

(Chorus)
My Boobs, my boobs
My boobs are ok
My Boobs, my boobs
My boobs are ok
And no matter what you say
I know they're ok
My boobs are ok

Just stupid to study
I ain't got a brain
So I never went to college
Couldn't find the way
I wished every tomorrow was a holiday
I'm such a crazy girl

Dumb as they come, oh, can't you see?
My cup size and IQ work in harmony
Just don't ask me about economy
Unless it is for free

[Chorus]

And with the makeup on, to make these fine
A little glamour from my hips to my tongue
That's the name of the game
You gotta know the rules
If you wanna give up
You gotta play it cool
You're so cool!

Come on, girls
Give me a Boo (Boo!)
Give me a b (B!)
Give me a s (s!)
Go Boobs!

Go Boobs!

Go Boobs!

[Chorus]

My Boobs, my boobs
My boobs are ok

My Boobs, my boobs
My Boobs, my boobs
My boobs are ok
My Boobs, my boobs
My Boobs, my boobs
My boobs are ok

And no matter what you say
I know they're ok
My boobs are ok

The job isn't hard it's just my energy level SUCKS!
I also miss being at home cause well... the house is a mess!
I know I didn't have to take this promotion the money isn't needed, heck the experence isn't needed...
Your prolly sitting there going why? everyone can use the extra cash and experence...
One.. I have management experence yeah this is a bit diffrent but meh...
extra cash sure great but it's not like we NEED it just WANT it :)
well at least I do..
I want it so we can save up quicker for a new house and fix this one up and have kids etc etc.. but yeah....
>_>
<_<
We wanna move outta this crappy town
ANYWAYS
I am gonna try to hang onto it for a bit
make extra cash
I do want my second SM box set and a compy upgrade so um yeah hang onto it for awhile... I want a uber compy and maybe pay for a year of city of heroes on both my accounts...
Get hubby a few things i been wanting to buy for him

need to keep it for now..
must do so to get these few things I want...
But can't save for that until Nov.....
plus we been talking about new wedding rings ....
those are cheep though $20 each or less ;P
But anyways I'm going to bed, its almost 9pm
ill prolly sleep until 7am again
I know I'm a brat
.....

So what it's better then being a BITCH
XD
it does suck but i want my goodies

Smell Good Stuff & Stuff !

Well wow, time just flew by its already September!
That means time to stick in my fall smell good wallflowers :)
I wasn't to impressed with the pineapple mango, I couldn't even smell it. But my friend Jilly said she could, it was quite weird.. But I still wasn't impressed with them.
But I did pick out 2 good ones this time they smell wonderful and I can actually smell them, well prolly until I get used to it then I wont be able too.
I picked:

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

For the bedrooms :)

AND

I picked:

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

For the living room/kitchen.

So far it smells like a apple and pear orchard. It smells so yummy!

Today hubby and I went to the breakfast buffet then came home and watched Sailor Moon. We had alot of fun, but now hes headed back to bed cause he's gotta work tonight. So I think I am awake enough to play some City Of Heroes

On another note I start my training this week for manager, I am pretty nervous yet excited. But again I keep telling myself if it gets to be to much to step down and go back to being at home more which I know I love being at home and taking care of things but time will tell, I am going at least try and hang on as long as I can if it gets to be to much to help save moneys and pay back a few things and then see what happens after that but so far so good :)

I couldn't ask for much more really, I am happy :)

Guess What We Did Today?

Well today is Monday, day off for myself and hubby as well as D&D nite.
His only one again this week :(
I wanna steal him to myself one night away from D&D so we can just have some us time, we haven't had that in over a year on his days off....
Ah well, It's alright
Time will fly by when he goes back to work I'm sure :)
I did get the promotion at work too to a Manager.
I will amit I am nervous, I'm scared about not doing a good job even though I do the best I can at everything I do... and I am told I am great at what I do.
I will miss being at home most of the time and I promised myself if it gets to be to much for me I will step down and go back to a regular sales associate.
But if it does get to be to much I am going to try and stick it out until we get Mom paid back at least and more moneys saved :)
Well I guess your wondering what we did today eh?
Well today we went to the vets to see about Salem's stitch that wouldn't fall out like they said it would... we got that taken care of :)
But while we where waiting there was a kitty sitting in a cage waiting to be adopted, went by the name of Skeet.
They told us neutered male very lovey and we could see that, oh was he ever!
Just then hubby read the sign on the cage and said what does: " Last Day Aug 20Th " Mean? The nurse turned around and said, "we usually give them a certain time to be adopted and if they don't we are required to put them down."
I almost started crying I felt the tears filling up in my eyes as I looked at the date today is the 27Th... right then and there I thought, "great now that he said something they are prolly gonna put him down later cause they musta forgot" I turned to hubby and said "we are taking him" he looked at me and said... "Uhhh...."
He knew I wasn't gonna take No for a answer so he asked how much it would cost to take Skeet home they said $95
I told them when we got back from taking Salem home we would hit the bank and be right back, we fled home little did we know it was only 8am we had time to kill before the bank opened....
We ended up going to the grocery store, grabbed some quick meals to last us until next Monday when we could make a grocery run and it will be after payday so we could stock up on alot of stuff.
As soon as we got home 9am, we ran off to the bank got the money then ran back to the vets and Skeet had to be checked again before we left to make sure he was nurt.... wait a sec the vet said... he isn't a he ... hes a she ;P
Guess they over looked that one!
It's all good though they said they think shes Spay cause she does have a belly scar but that could also be from a C-section but they said they are uncertain unless we wanted them to go in and check for themselves.
We shook our heads NO WAY! Poor girl been though enough!
So they said if she does happen to go into heat bring her back and they will Spay her for free since it's part of the deal when we adopted her.
So off we went!
Hubby scooped the litter and we did with her like we did with Salem, Scyko and Slayer when I brought them from Canada, start them out in the basement where the litter is, get em comfortable down there and let them come up when there ready.
I think she is gonna be alright, just gonna take some time :)
But that was our excitement for the day!
Things have still been going great, I just miss hubby cause he works alot :(
But I am sure we will make some "us" time soon enough ;)
Gonna try for a movie tomorrow afternoon before he goes to bed to get rest for work and maybe lunch, we will see :)
As much as I love D&D maybe we can have a night to ourselves next Monday, i dunno, hehe.
well anyways I am off, need my coh fix b4 D&D tonite :)

Updates, Life, Everything!

Well It's now Thursday, things been getting better.
I talked to my boss today and she said if I open my availability to everyday all day, it's a possible for sure promotion to a customer sales lead which could mean more cash and more hours which is perfect! For what hubby and I want :)
I haven't been so depressed anymore I been getting happier and happier everyday with life changing but changing for the better.
Bruce FINALLY moved out!
That was my biggest depressed issue was him living here and being a fucking pig!
Excuse my language =P
Next step though is getting my licence, cause I will need that for my job among prolly a few other things too, not sure what though.
What else been going on?
Not to much, work, eat, sleep, City Of Heroes and chatting with friends, and of course hanging out with hubby weather it be movies, Dungeons and Dragons or whatever its been fun :)
Need to make some plans to go out with Jill sometime soon, been awhile since we done girly stuff =P
Salem is now recovered from her spay and shes back to crazy Lil Salem =P
Anyways I started a loaf of bread, prolly gonna get some game time in then go to bed earlier then normal cause I wanna get up earlier to watch a movie or something with hubby when he gets home :)

I'm out =P

Five Breakup Signs

Five Breakup Signs
How to tell when you're about to get the boot

By Elina Furman
Special to Yahoo! Personals
Updated: Aug 22, 2007

One day, you are madly in love. You're cuddling on the couch, reading love poems and feeding each other sushi. And that's when it happens: Your partner sits you down for the "It's-Not-You, It's-Me" talk. You're confused and left wondering, "How could I have missed the signs?"
Breaking up is never easy. Your ego and heart are bound to get bruised. But if you could just see the breakup coming, it might make the whole business easier to stomach.
While hindsight is 20/20, there are always warning signals
While hindsight is 20/20, there are always warning signals along the way.
Top five signs you're about to get dumped

1. Picking fights. No one is saying you have to get along 24/7. Constructive conflict can actually be good for your relationship. But if you find that your partner has become argumentative over petty issues like your clothes or choice of restaurant, that should serve as a warning sign that he/she may be looking for an excuse to bail.

2. Forgetting to call. Used to be that your phone would ring all day long with your sweetie wanting to make plans or calling just to say, "I love you." Now your significant other doesn't even call when he/she is running three hours late. It may seem obvious, but going from speed dial to a blocked number is a sure sign that your relationship may be nearing its expiration date.
3. Changing their stripes. A major change in appearance can be a sign that your partner is looking toward greener pastures. Whether they've chopped off their hair, lost 40 pounds or gone from a bold brunette to a sultry blonde, major cosmetic changes should be noted. Of course, there's nothing wrong with being a little vain, but if the change is accompanied by any of the other signs listed here, you may need to get ready to go solo.

4. Criticizing. If your sweetie isn't feeling you anymore, don't be surprised if he/she becomes less tolerant of everything, from how you brush your teeth to how you tie your shoes. Constant criticism is a telltale sign that your days as a twosome are numbered.

5. Losing sexual interest. A healthy sex life can make or break a relationship. If you find that your partner is becoming more sexually aloof, you need to get to the root of the issue. While it's natural to have less sex as you settle into a comfortable groove together, waiting weeks or months to have sexual contact is a sign that something is amiss.
Now that you know the warning signs, don't panic. Just because your partner exhibits some of these behaviors, that doesn't necessarily mean the relationship is over. In fact, it's usually a combination of signs and not one isolated incident that foreshadows a breakup.
If you're worried that your partner is itching to get out, the most important thing you can do is sit down and discuss your issues in an honest and open manner. If you take these signs as your cue to improve communication, your relationship may just have a fighting chance.

Step By Step =)

Well today is now Friday, cause it's after midnight.
Thursday morning hubby and I made up a new Dungon's and Dragons (old style D&D) character for me, thinking of giving my bard a break for a lil bit, ended up making a dagger mage =)
Sounds and looks pretty freaken sweet =)
Well not much is new, things are back to normal now
Salem got her stitches out and I moved my compy back into the living room.
Cleaned up the house and got things back to normal.
Things are going well, hubbys dad should be moving in soon we are hoping by October.
That will be great cause time to save moneys and get things on track for whatever comes up next I guess heh. Who knows what that will be.
Well I got dye on my head and i have to wash it out in about 15mins.
Sonica my Sonic/Devices blaster in City of Heroes hit 43 about a hour ago =)
I am excited!
Frap there was something else I wanted to say and I don't remember now =/

Ooops....

Bad blogger

Yeah Yeah
I know I havn't updated in awhile

I been camping out in my spare room for almost a week with Salem now.
First few days was rough, she had trouble sleeping thus made me as well. It's all good though. I think she was just upset she wasn't with the other cats and she could scence them outside the door and hear them.
She still gets touchy cause she still can but not as much.
But she is doing much better now and healing very nice.
I Finally got a decent amount of sleep Saturday, it was nice to finally get some. Well meaning I was getting like maybe 2-3hrs a day for the past week, yeah that 8hrs was perfect!
Last night was rough again, I hope I can get more sleep before Dungons and Dragons tonight, and feel better.
Yesterday I don't know why but I tossed in a pot roast and started to cook some burgers for hubby for dinner, as soon as I smelt the grease I ran to the bathroom and tried to vomit but I just woke up I had nothing to get sick with....

Anyways....

City of heroes been fun, ran Quarterfield last night with Toy and Yoshi as well as others. It was pretty fun and we where being silly so we wouldn't go crazy cause it is a long task force (TF) we finished it in 7hours and 11 minutes. Pretty good timing!

We talked about getting team cookie back on track because we havn't done so since Athena Storm, Phil and Freezer Toy was on the venture to 50. Now I am itching to get Sonica there. She is a few bubs from 40 at the moment.

She is alot of fun in teams but soloing puts me to sleep. I don't know why it just does. I think I was spoiled with hubby's Illusion/Empathy Controller Pinky when he played.

Well I think I am gonna log in game for a bit, see whats going on then prolly take a nap cause I am gonna need it with D&D tonite. I will be doing my rolls from the bedroom since Salem and I are still camping out.

Anyways I am out for now!

Updates, Life, Everything!

Wow, been awhile since I posted
But here goes nothing :)

Well as of today I am off work until Friday I have to work 3hrs that day then I am off for another week and a bit.

It's all good :)

I been camping in our spare room with Salem since yesterday when she got home from the vets, I got her spay yesterday and I did this same exact thing couple months ago when I got Scyko spay so until Salem's better I will be sleeping on this mattress and having my compy right in front of me as well as giving Salem a lot of Attention like I was doing to Scyko.
But they always get a lot of attention anyways :)

As far as work, its been great, still in line for a promotion, not sure when but hopefully soon!
They had a deal where we could fill up a big bag with product of whatever we could fit for $5 limit of 2 per person, omg! I got so much stuff, my xmas shopping is done!

As far as home, things been great, got my privacy back :)
Hubby and I been doing a lot of different things together when we are not working like...
Movies, Lunch, Dinner, Games... Just hanging out and having fun!

I guess time will tell, his dad is also moving in with us soon.

Well I just took the cone off Salem so she would perk up a bit, it worked, she ate and still waiting for her to drink something but no luck yet...

She's healing nicely :)

I'm Happy :)

Oh and I also got Sailor Moon Box Set I !!
I am so happy about that, it's got all the ep's up to the beginning of S, then I am gonna get the second box set so I'll have the rest of the S series and Star's and another set of the movies, then I just gotta find the live action series and my goal of collecting them all will be complete!

Oh and I also pre-ordered Heroes Season I for $38 !!

KoRn

I added some KoRn to my play list once again, I been trying to mix up all the music I like over time but for awhile they didn't have whole KoRn songs that I could add they where always bits and pieces but FINALLY they have some full songs!

Korn has been a big part of my life.. you prolly wonder why

If any of you know KoRn you prolly know Johnathan's childhood and how it was for him, I understand fully what he went though because I went though it all too, just a few things a bit different but I do understand, KoRn's music helped me realize these things where not my fault and listening to Jon sing his memories and get out his anger though the music again also helped me a great deal.

I wouldn't be where I am today if I didn't have Korn in my life during those dark times.

One song will always remind me of the day I sat and sang it with it playing in the background. (It's on my play list too)

" Kill You "

The words rang true at the time in my life when I sang this song, I will never forget the day my friends came home from school and I was singing this song I was so angry and crying I didn't' even know they where standing behind me until my friend Scott walked up behind me and called to me, I shoved him outta the way not knowing who he was because I was so upset and blinded by tears. That was the day my friends found out about my childhood.

Jon Davis is one of my heroes and I love him dearly, I want to thank him and Korn for the great music they continue to make! I seen them back in 2002 in Detroit, I would LOVE to see them again and again and they are coming to my area soon and I want to go SO FREAKING BAD! But I have a few bills I need to pay for first unfort :(

But his music I will always listen to because its like his music explains how I feel daily, again thank you :)

Big Girls Don't Cry

Da Da Da Da
The smell of your skin lingers on me now
You're probably on your flight back to your home town
I need some shelter of my own protection baby
To be with myself and center, clarity
Peace, Serenity

I hope you know, I hope you know
That this has nothing to do with you
It's personal, myself and I
We've got some straightenin' out to do
And I'm gonna miss you like a child misses their blanket
But I've got to get a move on with my life
It's time to be a big girl now
And big girls don't cry
Don't cry
Don't cry
Don't cry

The path that I'm walking
I must go alone
I must take the baby steps 'til I'm full grown, full grown
Fairytales don't always have a happy ending, do they?
And I foresee the dark ahead if I stay

Like the little school mate in the school yard
We'll play jacks and uno cards
I'll be your best friend and you'll be my Valentine
Yes you can hold my hand if you want to
'Cause I want to hold yours too
We'll be playmates and lovers and share our secret worlds
But it's time for me to go home
It's getting late, dark outside
I need to be with myself and center, clarity
Peace, Serenity

I Can't Decide!

Okay call me crazy but um.
I can't make up my mind on what Wallflower scent to plug in next!
Strawberry Patch or Pineapple Mango!
I love both!
I was thinking maybe the pineapple mango cause it does smell yummy but then so does Strawberry!
I know I'm giving one bulb to my boss of the strawberry, when I do that things will be off balanced cause I want one bulb in the bedroom and the other in the living room...
So that's also why I think Pineapple Mango....
I could do separate fragrances in each room but that will just be a pain cause the scents will mix together ....
GAH!
decisions!

Song Lyrics - Nightwish

Wish I Had An Angel

Deep into a dying day
I took a step outside an innocent heart
Prepare to hate me fall when I may
This night will hurt you like never before

Old loves they die hard
Old lies they die harder
I wish I had an angel
For one moment of love
I wish I had your angel
Your Virgin Mary undone
I`m in love with my lust
Burning angel wings to dust
I wish I had your angel tonight

I`m going down so frail `n cruel
Drunken disguise changes all the rules

Old loves they die hard
Old lies they die harder

I wish I had an angel
For one moment of love
I wish I had your angel
Your Virgin Mary undone
I`m in love with my lust
Burning angel wings to dust
I wish I had your angel tonight

Greatest thrill
Not to kill
But to have the prize of the night
Hypocrite
Wannabe friend
13th disciple who betrayed me for nothing!

Last dance, first kiss
Your touch my bliss
Beauty always comes with dark thoughts

[sighing and laughter]

I wish I had an angel
For one moment of love
I wish I had your angel
Your Virgin Mary undone
I`m in love with my lust
Burning angel wings to dust
I wish I had your angel tonight

I wish I has an angel.........
I wish I has an angel.........
I wish I has an angel.........
I wish I has an angel.........

Nemo

This is me for forever
One of the lost ones
The one without a name
Without an honest heart as compass

This is me for forever
One without a name
These lines the last endeavor
To find the missing lifeline

Oh how I wish
For soothing rain
All I wish is to dream again
My loving heart
Lost in the dark
For hope I`d give my everything
Oh how I wish
For soothing rain
Oh how I wish to dream again
Once and for all
And all for once
Nemo my name forevermore

My flower, withered between
The pages 2 and 3
The once and forever bloom gone with my sins

Walk the dark path
Sleep with angels
Call the past for help
Touch me with your love
And reveal to me my true name

Oh, how I wish...

Nemo sailing home
Nemo letting go

Oh, how I wish...
