Comicon 2013
This weekend was awesome, 10 of my friends and I cosplayed the fem doctors from doctor who ONE THOUGH ELEVEN!
How cool is that EH?!
What else was cool, gave Adam Baldwin a Jayne hat, yup in front of over 500 people, I made it myself and he was really excited and happy about it and he said it was "Beautiful & Amazing quality and thanks!" in the end he also gave me a BIG HUG, hes a great hugger ;)
Pretty awesome eh!?
Also got to meet George Takei AND Daphne Ashbrook, got to escort her to where us fem docs where to get photo's ... such a great awesome uber weekend!
We got to be on SyFy for a show they are doing on cosplay, we had a table and a panel I also spoke in with Josh Adams for doctor who, so much fun to be had this weekend, totally totally awesome, I leave you with a photo of the fem 11.......

Over 9 years ago I logged into City of Heroes ... I met so many great friends, friends that turned into family, one person I met who is now the love of my life and best friend, we celebrated 8 years of being married Feb 14th 2013, if it wasn't for coh none of this would of been possible, moving from one country to another 900 miles from where I used to live because I loved it so much here, Wish I could of shown our children the game that brought us together, But isn't it amazing what online gaming can do for people. It's not EVIL like a lot of people think, I may have over the years always played other MMORPGs but City of Heroes was always home, Guardian was home, I miss playing with you guys :( ~

spending time with hubby to get our stuff signed & get autographs and well just spend time together
to much stuff jammed into Saturday and not enough spread into sunday, my heads about to explode trying to plan comicon

SyFy Channel @ Comicon!
I just found out today the SyFy channel will be at comicon doing a show on cosplay!
They will be doing stuff with the costume contest and bunches of other stuff!
That means your looking at a maybe famous person here in the mists which includes a buncha my friends too =)
Since we are going as the fem 11 ...
each incarnation of the doctor from doctor who
There is 11 of us!
This is overwhelmingly EXCITEMENT!
I can't wait til hubby calls from work hes gonna be excited also!

Jayne Hats
Well as you well some of you know from posts or a post anyways I did below I attempted the Jayne hat and it was a SUCCESS!
I finished hubby's hat for comicon (he's wearing it when we meet Adam Baldwin) and in exchange he said I HAVE to make one for Adam too, so I did =)
As soon as I posted the photo's in my etsy album on facebook my inbox EXPLODED!
At least it felt like it =)
So now I have orders for 4 more! Which is awesome, guess I should just start listing stuff on Etsy now, might have to order more yarn soon too cause the only place I can get these colors etc are online! Thank god they sent me a FREE SHIPPING coupon for my next order =)

Day 4
Well 8 years ago today I married my best friend and love of my life and my soul mate
We woke up around 9am, hubby called the wedding chapel to be sure we where set to go, I called my father and grandparents to see if they where going to make it, things where ready to go ! So we jumped in the car after we seen my buddy Scott off to work, Danielle came with us as she was our witness.
We made it down to the Chapel and hubby handed the guy his driver license ... he looked at us funny and I said to him you said we needed a license, he said marriage license, heck we never been married before we didn't know and when we asked him he said license he was never specific when we asked him what we all needed he just said license... geesh
So there we went drove back to town to get a license thankfully it wasn't that busy inside the office, we filled out all the paperwork and started to head back, i called my dad to tell him what happened, he told me that grandpa and grandma couldn't wait cause grandpa had to eat, this made me sad, I really wanted them to be there.
But when we got back we had 5 mins before he had to marry someone else or we could wait 1-2hrs then get married, but since hubby and I wanted to be on the road by 3pm and hit the bridge we didn't wanna wait we where just to happy and in love and excited we told him to do it now =P
So there we where getting married, before we said "I do" we told one another "once and only once" we didn't wanna be like our parents married then divorced then remarried, we promised to work though everything and always stay by one anothers side, so we said our "I DOs" and headed on our way =)
We wanted to prove to all those people that said we weren't going to work and we where a loss cause WRONG, and we did, even those that keep talking crap to this day they don't give up but we just keep it moving =)
So here we are 8 years later and many more years to come! I love you with everything i got babe like I told you and you told me... these been the most amazing 8 years of our lives and we can't wait to see what more life has to bring, we just keep asking god to keep us healthy and happy and loving one another more and more everyday, can't wait to see how things go when we have kids soon! =)
Yesterday February 13th 2013 we got a call from the adoption place we are now ready for our home study then to wait on a baby, we are still planning to have our own kids but we wanna adopt too
So any day now we could be a mommy and daddy =)
Next week I am getting our roomie & bro Bruce to help me CLEAN and get everything in order while hubby is at work then I can start my comic mural in the babies room, DC comic characters since we are DC Comic fans and we want the super heroes theme in the bedroom, ninja turtles in the bathroom and doctor who in the craft room, so much to do =)

Day 3
Well since tomorrow is a busy day Ill write day 3 now for when hubby & I first met since I have a moment while hes napping =)
Sunday morning we woke up and had breakfast with my friends at the time, we sat joked and then Danielle decided that she was going to talk about all my embarrassing moments including the ones I was drunk.. not a good idea >_< I mean i was 23 when hubby & I got married i get that but still so embarrassing =P
After breakfast we headed to my dad's so he could meet joel plus joel and I being as old fashioned as we where he wanted to ask for my hand etc, so we got there it was mid afternoon (since we didn't wake up til almost noon) my brother jon boy was cooking up some moose meat, tammy was wandering around, my step mom got off work so she was laying in the bedroom and didn't come out, Terilin was in her room (as usual) and my dad was on the computer, my dad and hubby exchanged hand shakes and then hubby asked my dad, my dad's reply was "shes old enough to make her own choices" not something we where hoping for in a reply but we looked at one another shrugged and moved though the house, my step mom called from the bedroom "she don't know him its not going to work" well here we are 8 years later still going strong and then some and looking to many more years :)
Hubby then got to try moose meat for the first time, he got to see my dad's gun collection he goes hunting with and the moose antlers on the wall and the rest of the house where I kinda grew up, since I moved around a lot as a child.
After we said our goodbyes it was evening time around dinner we decided to go to my apartment and get some of my things and papers I needed to prove i was me etc, I said bye to my kitties I wasn't planning to be gone long since we talked about me visiting his parents and friends for about a week or 2, see which place I liked better then make my choice if i wanted to stay or move to hubbys place, hubby said he would sell his house and everything if I didn't want to stay, so after I got everything we went back to Scott & Danielle's thats where I asked Danielle to be my witness since Scott had to work he couldn't be my second one so we had to pay for another witness.
After we got back we ate dinner with scott and danielle and we went about our business for the evening with music and movies and chatting about the years and all of us continuing to get to know one another =) After sometime we went to bed since we had to be at the place to get married by 11am

Day 2
After hubby & I got some rest, 8yrs ago
today would of been the 2nd day we where hanging out getting to know one
another even more face to face and I was showing him around town
I then brought him to see my grandparents where we had a small lunch and grandma brought up the stories of when I was a kid, got our photo albums, This is where grandma pulled me aside while hubby & grandpa where talking old army stories and asked me if I truly loved him, I told her yes, I told her I wanted her and grandpa to be okay, she said, Tina I just want you to be happy and if he makes you happy and being with him does, then go be happy don't sit around and wait for old folks like us for our time to come, its time to be happy love that man and live your life to the fullest, then she smacked me on the butt =P
After the visit with them we went back to my friends at the times place where we then went to dinner, the waitress thought it was funny when he ordered "American" cheese on his burger. We then turned in early since the next day was a busy day =)

Day 1
8 years ago today I met hubby for the first
time after talking online for 8 months, he drove 14hrs to Canada he
showed up at 5:30am at this time we had so much snow & black ice it
was -40 degrees he came running up to my apartment door when he seen me
we both felt like kids that hadn't seen there best friend in years! ~ He
about slipped on black ice running up to me, we hugged one another and
smiled. We then went inside to chat for a
bit and then we went to a hotel since we didn't want to disturb my
roomie when they got home from work, so we left to get sleep for about
3hrs, We woke up & to check our wallets for some change, we both
pulled out the same penny same year and smiled at one another, we had
kept the same coin in our wallets way before we met, we knew it was
fate, he then looked at me and said, "Whatcha say we get married monday,
I mean we talked about it and all and well will you marry me?" I said
"YES" I then took him to the famous TIM HORTONS for coffee, we told the
hotel folks we wanted to check out sunday but they didn't speak english
so well they cleaned out our room on Saturday & locked us out, the
gifts hubby had for me from his mom where lost :( ~ Thankfully 2 good
friends I had at the time let us stay with them in the meantime =) So
off we went so he could meet my family & friends and shown him
around town and where i grew up =)

Comicon & More Updates!
Well comicon is almost 2 months away
We are so freaken excited!
I got my fem 4 costume, scarf, 4.4lbs of jelly babies, making a Jayne hat for when hubby & I meet up with Adam Baldwin, hubby I am gonna make him wear it since I will already have my hat with fem 4, they finally got a Doctor Who artist ! I am so excited to see, they said this week more announcements to blow peoples socks off are to take place this week, so can't wait!
Hubby & I will be celebrating our 8 year wedding anniversary in 10 days!
Those that said we are such a lost cause, whos the lost one sitting in the cold ALONE cause you can't keep your mouth shut on your blog, uh huh yep!
Reason we haven't been around...
Meanwhile other people need to keep to themselves too and grow the hell up >_>
I finally got back at my workout routine today, no more slacking, I have 86lbs to my goal, I had over 156lbs loss back in Summer of 2010 and I was down to 176lbs I started losing in spring 2009 and dropped all that in 19 months, I can do it again I know I can, I graduated high school in 2000 at 135lbs I was always skinny mini but I then quit smoking and gained almost 200lbs, but feels good to be back at it exp since I want to lose some more before our cosplay in April at comicon, .......

The Good The Bad The Ugly...
Yes that's a movie title but I am not talking about the movie =P
I just couldn't think of a blog name tho it's nothing to do with what I am about to write =P
I am keeping this short simple and to the point
We are so blessed for much hubbys job, our medical benefits, very soon kiddo(s)
Things are awesome!
Only thing that drives me nuts is the negative, self centered buttholes that need to not enter peoples lives, I never understood why god would make people like this but then I realized its to test us maybe? Who knows !
But all I know is I am so happy and blessed I got a good man who doesn't do some of the things that some of the men I know do around me, he is one of the good guys and I wouldn't trade that for anything =)
Just wish some of the buttholes that enjoy making peoples lives miserable or at least try too need to get a new hobbie, get a spouse/bf/gf that can stand them, maybe it will help them from trying to put a wedge between those people that are meant to be together and keep there thoughts to themselves I dunno =)
But in lighter news did buy our tickets for comicon

Oh my it's not far away now!
Well 2 months and a couple weeks but so much to do!
Our Time Lord Society needs to get things ready if we are going to have a panel slot this year like last year!
Hilary been working hard on last min costume stuff, shes been hard at work making our costumes and her sister also, they are doing amazing jobs
My costume is completed though, pretty exciting tried it on and everything, I just want to wear it NOW lol
I went as River Song last year on the second day of the convention since hubby & I dressed as mad scientists the first day
Right now we are getting ready for couple dates with friends, so exciting for us, we also have a date night set with our friends next door next week, making homemade chinese food, yummy!
Well cat is meowing at me for food and attention, hubby got sick, now I got it too and Bruce caught it today, ugh, house full of sicky sick folks =P
Well better scram gotta get hubby food also, and yep babies are hungry too, ciao

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Yes I know I am late
BUT
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
We just been SO BUSY right now, holidays where pretty busy, hubby started a new job, the job before he had was great paid well, 100% on our benefits, but he got told about the same job he had been doing but at a diff location & more pay and a bit more perks with the benefits they provide like health classes, weight loss stuff, they also help with costs for adoption, but most of all less stress, his old job even with a promotion he got was pretty stressful.
So we are so thankful & blessed he was able to get his foot in the door doing the same thing just less stressful and less hands on when it comes to keeping people under control. Plus all the perks he gets and more pay is truly a blessing =) We also will most likely have kiddos running about soon too ! We are going to be celebrating our 8 year anniversary next month on Feb 14th, so those of you that said we where such a lost cause, yeahhhhhhhh who's the lost cause sitting in the cold with friendships torn apart cause of your hateful words

Reason we haven't been around and don't like you PERIOD you spread hate you get taken out of peoples lives PERIOD, so keep it moving! Anyhoo, this year is going to be another amazing year, so much to look forward too and so many things started in the works! We are looking forward to many more years! I am starting to feel old, just turned 31 last month hubby will be 37 in a couple months
Also Comicon is coming up and myself and 10 of my friends are dressing up as the incarnations of the doctor from the show Doctor who! ~
my friends mom will be playing the 1st
my friend Robyn will be playing the 2nd
my friend Hilary will be playing the 3rd
I will be playing the 4th (I also have over 4lbs worth of Jelly Babies)
my friend Natalie will be playing the 5th
my friend Amy will be playing the 6th
my friend Jen will be playing the 7th
my friend Tonya will be playing the 8th
my friend Edmes sister will be playing the 9th
my friend Edme will be playing the 10th
my friend Heather will be playing the 11th
My friend built K-9 with her dad, we are going to fem him up since we are playing fem doctors Our group will hopefully get a table this year as well as another panel slot like last year so new whovians can meet up & make friends =) I have to say WE ARE SO EXCITED and Adam Baldwin is gonna be there!
Anyways I better get going, get a few things cleaned up while hubby is at work so I can play some World of Warcraft, 1 level to go before lvl 90 !! Then I need to start working on a horde toon =P
ps.. like last year I will have photo's posted for comicon promise!
pps .. here is my 4th doctor scarf I made, It took me about 2 months to make I finished the tassels a couple nights ago
