1. Invest in the basics. A supportive mattress and pillows are key for comfort and long-term health.
Note: If you sleep on your side, choose a firm pillow; if you sleep on your back, opt for a medium one; stomach sleepers, go for super-soft.
2. Time Matters. Set your internal clock by going to sleep and waking up at about the same time every day (including weekends).
3. Plan ahead. Set yourself up with everything you need before going to bed: extra blankets, a glass of water, an eye mask.
4. Avoid napping. Although it's hard to resist, a quick catnap on the couch may throw your sleep pattern out of whack. If you feel tired, try going to bed early instead of napping.
5. Tidy up. A clean room creates a sense of calm and comfort. Get in the routine of making the bed when you wake up – it feels so much better to get into a neat bed at night.
6. Move it. Set aside at least 30 minutes a day to get your heart rate up. It helps increase the time you spend in a deep-sleep stage, and cuts the time it takes to drift off to dreamland.
Note: Vigorous exercise before bedtime may have the reverse effect so avoid exercising three hours before bed.
7. Breathe deeply. Once in bed, take 10 full, slow breaths to help get oxygen into your bloodstream and calm your heart rate.
8. Sit and soak. Before bed, take a bubble bath to soothe muscles and wash away the day (or try Epsom salts). Light some scented candles for a relaxing, spa atmosphere. If you don't have a bathtub, take a long, hot shower – it can feel just as therapeutic.
9. Dab it on. Put a small amount of lavender essential oil (suitable for putting on skin) on pulse points such as temples and wrists to calm your nerves.
10. Slow down. Spend the hour before you plan on going to bed doing relaxing activities like reading or listening to music in a dimly lit room. Avoid television since it can over-stimulate your senses and keep you awake.

Domestic Violence
While you SCREAM at your woman, there's a man wishing he could talk softly to her ear. While you HUMILIATE, OFFEND and INSULT her, there's a man flirting with her and reminding her how wonderful she is. While you HURT your woman, there's a man wishing he
could make love to her. While you make your woman CRY, there's a man stealing smiles from her. Post this on your status/blog/webpage if you're against Domestic Violence ♥

25 ways to clean with vinegar, who would of tunk it! =)
The cleaning aisle at just about any grocery store is stocked with a dizzying array of options—and when it comes down to it, there are a lot of expensive, toxic, superfluous products crowding the market. Chances are, you already have one of the best, all-purpose cleaning agents in your pantry: white vinegar. As noted earlier, vinegar actually works as a great laundry booster, stripping away the chemical build-up that detergent leaves behind (and gets rid of clingy odors in the process). And beyond that, there are tons of other applications for the stuff around your home. Here, from vinegar tips.com and frugalfun.com, 25 ideas for making the most of vinegar:
1. Deodorize the sink: Pour 1 cup baking soda, followed by 1 cup hot vinegar, down the drain. Let sit for at least 5 minutes, then rinse with hot water.
2. Deodorize the garbage disposal: Make ice cubes out of vinegar. Run the disposal with a few vinegar ice cubes and cold water.
3. Clean counter-tops: Wipe down surfaces with a rag dipped in vinegar.
4. Clean the fridge: Use a mixture of half water, half vinegar to wipe down the interior shelves and walls.
5. Remove soap build-up and odors from the dishwasher: Once a month, pour 1 cup of vinegar into an empty dishwasher and run the machine through its entire cycle.
6. Bust oven grease: If you’ve got grease spots on the oven door, pour some vinegar directly on the stains, let it sit for 15 minutes, and wipe away with a sponge.
7. To make old glassware sparkle: To get rid of the cloudy effect, wrap a vinegar-soaked towel around the glass and let it sit. Remove and rinse with hot water.
8. Get rid of lime deposits on your tea kettle: Fill the kettle with vinegar and let it bowl. Allow it to cool, and rinse with water.
9. Remove stains in coffee cups: Create a paste using of equal parts vinegar and salt (or in lieu of salt, baking soda) and scrub gently before rinsing.
10. Treat Tupperware stains (and stinkiness): Wipe the containers with a vinegar-saturated cloth.
11. Remove stains on aluminum pots: Boil 1 cup vinegar and 1 cup water.
12. Deter ant infestations: Spray outside doorways and windowsills, and anywhere you see a trail of critters.
13. Clean can openers: Scrub the wheel of your can opener with vinegar using an old toothbrush.
14. Remove stickers or labels: Cover the sticker with a vinegar-soaked cloth. Let it sit overnight—it should slide right off by morning.
15. Shine porcelain sinks: A bit of vinegar and a good scrub should leave them sparkling.
16. Clean grout: Pour on some vinegar, let it hang out for a few minutes, and buff with an old toothbrush.
17. Clean the shower door: Spray them down with vinegar pre-shower, or post (after you’ve squeegeed the glass) to remove hard water deposits.
18. Clean a grimy shower-head: To get rid of scum, fill a Ziploc with ½ a cup of baking soda and 1 cup vinegar and tie it around the shower-head. Let it sit for an hour, until the bubbling has stopped. Remove the bag and run the shower.
19. Make a toilet sparkle: Pour in a cup or two of vinegar and let it sit there overnight before scrubbing with a toilet brush.
20. Polish linoleum floors: Add 1 cup of vinegar for every gallon of water you use to wash the floor.
21. Clean paintbrushes: Soak paintbrushes for an hour before simmering them on the stove to remove hardened paint. Drain and rinse.
22. Clean grills: Spray vinegar on a ball of tin foil, then use it to give the grate a firm scrub.
23. Disinfect wood cutting boards: Wipe down wood boards with a wash of vinegar.
24. Clean the microwave: Fill a microwave-safe bowl with 2 cups water and ½ cup vinegar. Heat it on full power for 3-4 minutes until it comes to a boil. Keep the door closed for a few minutes longer to let the steam fill the microwave, loosening the grime. Remove the bowl (carefully!) and wipe down interior walls with a sponge.
25. Polish patent leather accessories: Give them a rub with a vinegar-soaked cloth. Buff with a dry cloth.
1. Deodorize the sink: Pour 1 cup baking soda, followed by 1 cup hot vinegar, down the drain. Let sit for at least 5 minutes, then rinse with hot water.

10 Ways to Reduce Your Summer Utility Bills
Before the summer heat--and summertime utility bill--starts to make you sweat, you might want to consider making a few changes to cut your energy consumption. You can shave dollars off your monthly bills without sacrificing comfort as long as you plan ahead and get creative. Here's a room-by-room guide to saving money this summer--and benefiting the Earth at the same time.
In the basement: Geoff Godwin, division vice president of Emerson, the country's largest provider of heating and cooling systems, says cleaning air conditioning filters every month and getting your system checked by a professional once a year will ensure that it's functioning as efficiently and inexpensively as possible. "A lot of people don't do that--they ignore the AC system until something goes wrong," he says, then they end up buying an entirely new unit instead of making minor fixes.
If you need a new air conditioner, an energy efficient one might be eligible for a tax credit (check at www.energystar.gov). When you're shopping around, look for a unit with a seasonal energy efficiency ratio of 16 to 21, the highest level of efficiency. Another option is a geothermal heating and cooling system, which utilizes pipes running from the more stable, ambient temperatures found five feet underground year-round into your home, where they pump heat in or out, depending on the season.
Throughout the house: "Make sure your house is leak-free," says Alliance to Save Energy spokeswoman Ronnie Kweller, or else "nice, cold, expensive air is going out the cracks." You might want to consider assigning this task to a professional. Through the Energy Star online directory, you can find a local auditor who will use diagnostic equipment to test your home for areas where air conditioning might escape. Your auditor will probably do what's known as a blower door test, which lowers the air pressure in your home and reveals leaks. He or she may also take a photo of your house with a thermographic camera, with the red areas of the photo indicating where better insulation and sealing are needed.
If you don't want to shell out money for an energy auditor, you can perform a casual energy audit yourself. Efficiency experts recommend feeling around baseboards, windows, doors, light switches, and electrical sockets for air leaks. Air can escape or enter anywhere that two different building materials meet. Kweller also recommends walking around your house with incense to see if the smoke blows in when you pass windows. Kweller says old, wooden windows are especially prone to this kind of leakage
If you find problem areas, seal it with foam or caulking, which you can find at the hardware store. Insulation that meets certain efficiency criteria is also eligible for the federal tax credits. Kweller says properly sealing your house can save up to 20 percent on your utility bill.
Using a programmable thermostat so that the temperature automatically rises when no one is home during the day can yield annual savings of about 30 percent, says Godwin, with much of the savings in the summer, since air conditioning runs with electricity. While some 25 million households own programmable thermostats, only half of those people take advantage of them, says Godwin.
Replacing older light bulbs with compact fluorescents not only reduces your electricity bill, it can help save energy on air conditioning since fluorescents generate less heat, says Kweller. She estimates that each bulb can save about $50 over the course of its lifetime.
In the living room: There's nothing wrong with hosting movie nights this summer, but make sure you shut your entertainment center down when the evening's over. Simply turning off a television set doesn't put a stop to so-called "vampire power"--the power that devices consume even when they're not in use. That's why you should either unplug your electronics or use a Smart Strip, which cuts power when it's not needed.
If you're in the market for a new television, check energy efficiency ratings. The Energy Department bestows its Energy Star rating to sets that use about one-third less energy than regular televisions. In general, LCD televisions use less energy than plasma screens, but both use more than older sets.
Remember to turn the power off or unplug your digital photo frames when you're not gazing at those illuminated photos. Over the course of the year, leaving one on costs about $9--not a lot, but when thousands of people are doing the same thing, it adds up.
In the kitchen: Baking a cake or casserole in the summer will force your air conditioner to go into overdrive. Plus, eating hot food will only make you want to turn the thermostat down. But you don't have to survive on cold pasta salads and gazpacho this summer. Instead of using your oven, consider an outdoor grill or toaster oven for small amounts of food.
If you're up for a challenge, try baking cookies on your car--yes, your car. Nicole Weston of Baking Bites developed a method of baking chocolate cookies with the heat that collects inside cars on steamy days. She suggests parking in the sun, using a thermometer to help monitor the temperature, and protecting your dashboard by putting a barrier between it and the baking sheet. (It should be at least 95 degrees outside and the baking process takes around two and a half hours.)
In the bathroom: If you don't want to spend money on a low-flow toilet, you can still make yours more efficient by dropping a soda bottle filled with sand or water into the back. It will use less water each time it flushes. Ivan Chan of carbonfund.org adds that small steps such as turning the water off while brushing your teeth or shaving can save a substantial amount of water (and money on your water bill) each year. He also recommends installing a water conserving showerhead.
In the bedroom: Stay cool while you sleep with an overhead fan instead of pumping air conditioning throughout the entire house. Shutting the doors and vents of unused rooms can also lighten the load of your air conditioning unit.
Outside: A way to reduce cooling costs in the longer run is to plant trees or shrubs so that your house is more shaded, especially on the sunnier side, says Kweller. (For a quicker fix, draw the blinds or shades when you're not home.)

Life...
Life is what you make of it, no one told you growing up it would be easy, life always has it's up & downs but one thing we can do is take the drivers seat, work our ass off & enjoy what life gives us & one day things will calm down & you will have more time to enjoy the bigger & better things of life that worked so hard for, the tears, blood & sweat will all be worth it in the end, if you have your soul mate next to you & your love is strong enough you will & can make it though anything, I believe everyone has there mate some where they just need to find them or they will find you, just take day by day & don't' rush things, things always come together in time just takes determination & work, but again it will be worth it, we work & make our plans but god always has a bigger plan he will take care of us always, just enjoy what you have and life will unfold slow but sure. ~ I was just thinking of this today something I came up with, I prolly rambled a bit but it does make sense don't it? Have a great day everyone, time for Hubby & I to get the deck stained, basement cleaned and stuff out for big item pickup! ~ Any takers to help us shovel 18 tons of rock next weekend? Have a great day everyone! It's almost FRIDAY! =P

Updates, Weigh In.... Stuff!
Hubby & I !
I have to say I am pretty happy I never been this happy well since.... I lived with my Grandparents when I was a kid? Though this week was/is/has been a sad week for me, still kinda is. Sunday was Grandma's Birthday, this Sunday is Mother's Day, Grandpa's birthday was last month and Father's day is coming up, first year for me without Grandma, going on a couple years now without Grandpa, it's been pretty hard.
Hubby has been doing well & very happy too, his job is going well & knock on wood it continues, hes only had to work 2 days this week which helps a lot getting last min stuff done for the house stuff. He's been very supportive with a lot of things & I been returning the favor of course, we love one another very much & are continuing to look forward to our long long lives together! We are truly blessed & thankful everyday! =)
Saving Moneyz... kinda
Plus side I finally got some bills lowered which was good, called up & made some adjustments for example got the free long distance to Canada taken off, no point using that now that Grandpa & Grandma are no longer with us, I really have no reason to call Canada & now I am saving $6 a month. Among the long distance unlimited in the US which I use on & off to friends Ive met online though games or facebook that got lowered. So I saved almost $25/mo just on my phone bill, got others reduced as well. So it all works out which is nice.
House!
We are on the final projects kitchen floor is being redone this weekend, sink might be too! ~ Next weekend we are getting the fresh gravel put down, basement is almost done, big pickup is coming soon need to throw more crap away and pack up some more stuff. We are pretty much good to go really, oh and the deck which needs to be re-stained which will be taken care of shortly too, then we are going to see about the driveway what the house seller lady says.
Other then that we are ready to sell & move closer to Family & Friends we enjoy being around, to be honest Ive seen some awesome deals out by Vince & Kimmy & everyone out that way.
Sure we could move to another state that's close by but why ? We work here so why move to another state and pay 2 taxes =P
I seen a 4 bed 2 bath for 79,000 I seen a 3 bed 1.5 bath for 69,900 & it's all new & redone I was drooling cause these 2 houses the kitchens are like HUGE I mean I could fit my kitchen & living room in it now 2x !! Kitchen will sell me cause that is my domain =)
Weight loss news!
Well I joined a site called Calorie Count on Jan 8Th 2010, since then I managed to lose 23lbs, for a total of 67lbs since March 26/09. I also lost a total of 18" in my waist!
Though I have to say I was disappointed by my loss for April, I lost 1 ..... 1 stinking lb! Which upsets me a lot. I spent a lot of time on home renovation stuff, cleaning, cooking, baking and taking care of other things didn't get much workout time in as I wanted, end of the month though started to pick up pace & was working out 2-3hrs/day but I was over doing it I don't think I was giving my body enough time to recover/catch up. But I was doing a lot of body band/strength training as well so could by why so little on loss, cause I did lose another 1.5" in my waist =)
So all in all in the last 13 months Ive gone from 255lbs to 188lbs & 51" waist to a 33" waist, though that's a good thing, I only have 38lbs left before I hit 150 which I am hoping by summer! ~ I gained over 100lbs when I quit smoking so I wasn't my skinny mini I was when I graduated high school, but getting back on track is the main thing!
I also started a weight loss page on facebook & in just almost 9 weeks we have over 260 amazing members!
Doctor's notes
I made my next 2 apps for this summer my doctor & my OBGYN, gotta get a few final tests done to be sure all is okay, if so could be family time for hubby & I just hoping I am close, at or under my goal weight of 150lbs by then, so that way I can maintain & try & lose more or whatever while trying for a family
LICENSE!
Finally got my drivers license took me 2 tries but I DID IT! ~ I kept my permit for 2 years and practiced, First time I didn't even practice parallel parking just went in and boom did it, my turns where to wide, screwed up the parking on a hill (there was no curb there and I went right on a hill up, which is right but she said no...) and P-Parking but second time everything was perfect only thing turn signal when P-Parking oops other than that I would of had a perfect score, but that's fine cause I had the same tester as last time which made it easier which made it A LOT easier really, we just talked the whole time she knew what I needed to work on =) But yes I haz license nao!
Friends/Family
We have a awesome supportive family & friends need I say more thanks to all who been here for us always no matter what & not talk shit ; )
Mushy Stuff
We are just happy & worked very hard to get where we are at sure we had issues though the ways but we got though it & are very happy where we are now & happiness continues to grow each day we just enjoy one an others company & spending time together and with those folks that mean a lot to us & that are important to us as friends & family.
My best friend has asked me to be her maid of honor which hubby & I will travel to Canada for next fall =)
There are those that think "lost cause" "We wont make it" blah blah blah guess what you wonder why we don't plan a drive to visit you or call.... it's cause we can't stand the words you say or write. To us your not our friends/family anymore cause if you where friends/family you wouldn't say those kinda things. So til the day you all know when to grow up you wont see us well if ever we decide to see you all again or bring our future kids around if we decide too. Your not worth it to us. We will remain where we are most happy & loved. =)

Shutup & Sweat & LOVE IT!
Yay, I have to say I always been very happy with my life in the last 5 years, I have the most awesome supportive hubby ever, my weight loss journey finally started March 26/09, I got off my arse and did something about it. I never used to be over weight til I quit smoking almost 11 years ago, then I gained over 100lbs, Hubby has been smoke free for almost a year, YAY HIM! ~ He has only gained maybe 30lbs I wanna say, but he has been 100% better about it then I was, hes got the tools I never knew about Vitamin C the best friend of quitters (quitters in a good way). I used fast food and junk food for my quitting smoking and thing is I hung around people who where already over weight so I never thought anything of it, u know?
Well the main thing is we are on track, hubby and I made a promise to one another to get rid of the bad habits in our lives before we bring little ones into this world, he made the promise to quit smoking if I lost the weight and visa versa and you know, it works! :)
Support from your loved one always helps and it's been working for us & we are even more happy now, we just celebrated 5 years on Feb 14/2010 and we couldn't ask for more, for all of those people who thought or still think we are a lost cause you know where you can take it cause we don't care about anything you say or much of them people anyways really, They're just jealous as hubby would say, and I agree 150504% and then some, lol. :)
I have not weigh'd myself in a couple weeks because I am waiting til the one year mark on March 26/2010... and you know last time I weigh'd myself I was down 63lbs and 15" on my waist ....
One more test in July & it's not far away now! ~ All goes well could be family time for us!
YAY!
So if your serious about losing weight, quit your crying and tell yourself I am going to shutup now and SWEAT! Cause I LOVE IT! ~ You will feel better too promise! ; )
Now back to getting my quitting smoking weight off, and for good and back to my fit hyper self I was 10 years ago! I wont be going back to 110lbs like back then but I will be 150 or less! That's the plan!
I like to thank my wonderful supportive loving hubby, my wonderful friends & family who been here for us and exp though the tough times when I was in a constant worry when I got diagnosed with HPV, the tests came back good to go in January but my OBGYN wants to be sure so that's the one more test in July & if all goes well and I get to my weight loss goal I want, FAMILY TIME! : )

Friends Forever !
Yesterday was my hubby's Grandma's funeral. It was hard for everyone this past week. I learned a lot about this side of our family over the past few days I never knew. They always have been amazing. My husband has 2 of his best friends Forrest & Vince, they been friends since they where 6 or so years old, coming up on 30 years of being friends and I know there friendships are going to continue cause they are open, honest, trusting and so many more things, when they get together and talk about things they used to do & get in trouble with growing up, it's so funny to sit and listen to the stories.
Just amazes me how much time flies when you got amazing friends. I mean just last month when hubby & I celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary, we where like Dang where did time go? ~ All the kids running around that we met 5 years ago are now all grown up quite a few are graduated from high school or grade school it's like ....... WE ARE GETTING OLD! LOL!
Well I am finally down 63lbs last I checked I went from 255lbs last March 26/09 now to a 192lb mark, went from 51" in the waist now down to a 35.5" waist.
July is coming soon & I want to have these last 42lbs GONE! ~ That way fingers crossed all will go well with final testing at the OBGYN then fingers crossed hubby & I can start our family! ~ The kitchen is almost done now with renovations then its just the basement left and odds and ends like the driveway another coat of stain on the deck and few more ends and odds then should be good to go come may/June to SELL!
We really want/need a bigger house sooner rather than later :)
I hope everyone's have a great day!
All we have to say we thank you to friends family and the man & women upstairs that have always been here for us & kept in touch over the years, We are very thxful and blessed I am very thankful to have such a wonderful husband, family, and friends :)
True friends always keep in touch even though we might not see one another as much exp when people get married. But when something happens we are always there for one another. True friends don't talk shit behind one an others backs when there backs are turned or write something about them or there wife or husband or anything period behind there back, those friends are not friends they need to be kicked far out & never return, I know with us and those around us, don't like people like that and we don't need them in our lives, reason we hardly see those people. We have kicked all the ones we know out and I am sure there is more to follow soon.

Windows XP users: Don't press F1
If you're browsing the web today and see a notice that you should press the F1 key (the traditional button used to get "help" in any application), don't do it.
Microsoft is warning of a brand new exploit that can cause computers running Windows XP and using the Internet Explorer web browser to become infected with malware at the push of a button: Specifically, the F1 button.
The flaw is part of the way Visual Basic and Windows Help are implemented within IE, the upshot being that a clever hacker can code a dialog box that will allow the running of any code the hacker wants. Traditionally this means installing any kind of malware or virus on the victim's PC that a hacker desires.
The good news is that this exploit isn't extremely dangerous because it does require user interaction to install itself. Unlike some recent exploits, merely visiting an infected website won't cause harm to your computer: You actually have to "push a button" to be affected.
The bad news is that the F1 button has always been seen as harmless, more so than simply clicking "OK" on the average prompt you might see. When dismissed, the prompt can also be coded to pop up repeatedly, so getting rid of it might not be simple.
Microsoft is advising users that, until a patch can be written and released, users are advised not to press the F1 key while web browsing. No matter how many pop-ups and alerts a user receives, as long as F1 is not pressed this attack will not succeed.
Microsoft has not announced a timeline for the fix, but its next patch release is due on March 9. Hang tight, but don't ask for "help."

5 Years ... Right Around The Corner!
So 5 years are almost here for Hubby & I being married, it's been a awesome 5 years. Sure we have had our moments but what couple doesn't? Only makes you stronger and I know it made us stronger & makes us look forward to another 50+ years together!
We been though a lot in the last 5 years, putting up with folks that think we are a lost cause, not going to make it past our first 2 years of marriage, people who think that we are trying to change one another. There are people who still think this I am sure. But those people just come off as jealous no good ____fill in your word here____! :) Among many other things!
Thing is hubby & I don't let these people get to us cause we are not here to please them or anything of that sort, cause it's US & ALL ABOUT US & NOT THEM! We could care less.... Also ONE we made it past our first 2 years of marriage & it's now 5 years later and you know what, many many more to come which we are looking forward too, cause we love one another to dang much! ~ TWO changing one another? nah, we made promises to one another to get rid of the bad habits we had/have cause things like those habits need to get a boot before kids come long, for example: We decided to challenge one another & have fun with it, Hubby quits smoking & I lose weight, we both started almost a year ago & doing very well, hubby hasn't had a smoke in ages, me as of today I lost 57lbs total since last year. Among little changes here and there but we are doing it FOR US! ~
Those people that think those things or had nerve to BLOG about this stuff etc etc, we don't like or think to highly of anymore, reason we don't have much or anything to do with them anymore. Which is fine cause they are childish __________FILL IN YOUR WORD HERE__________!
I asked hubby what he wanted for his anniversary gift, he said he dunno, myself I don't expect much if anything at all. I am not much of a needy person when it comes to gifts and such. If anything just the stuff I use like rolling pin, mixer, the stuff that is used most often. Now books, games, all that jazz I don't need much of really, just spending time together is more then enough and everyone knows we do a lot of that, exp since hes got 3 days off a week (which we are truly blessed!) and in between renovation work we spend a lot of time together cause it's what we most enjoy. Hubby said he was getting me a new digicam cause my other one broke, a new ring cause this one has gotten HUGE since I have lost so much weight, dinner out Monday since hes working the day of our anniversary which is fine by me, but he told me there is more but wont tell me what O_O!
All I know is I have the best hubby ever & I can't wait for more and more years to come cause there is going to be many of those :)
I love you honey!! xo xo

Life Updates!
I have to say I am very lucky & blessed to have a wonderful husband, I told him the other night, "Your the best husband ever!"
He said, "Naw, I just married the best & it makes me look good!"
He's just so awesome ^_^ ~ <3
Well on updates of life let's see...
Still working on the house, kitchen is almost half way done now kinda sorta, basement still needs work but we are on the crunch of things now, time is running out since we wanna have the house up by May/June. Gotta call my mother in law today to see if she can take some of our stuff we packed up & store it in her basement.
Health wise, blessed for our health! ~ Hubby & I went for a full blood workup to see if we where healthy, so far so good just low on Vit D. Which a lot of doctors don't check we where told but ours did. So now for 12 weeks we need to take some extra strong Vit D to get our levels back up. ~ After 12 weeks another blood test & if our levels are up, need to slap on a supplement if not we gotta run another 12 weeks with the Vit D.
Another note on health, tomorrow is weigh in day for me, been trying to weigh in every Tuesday, Last Tuesday I think I was at 207? I can't remember now. Id have to double check but I can tell I been losing more weight & quick I might add thanks to the meds my doc put me on to help speed up the process a bit. ~ My legs, arms and butt hardly have anymore fat on them, my belly is there but so much smaller, I mean I can fit into hubbys jeans and clothes now! ; )
Other than that and working on the house, we been watching a lot of movies catching up on that, we have D20 game day 1-2 times a month depending on hubbys schedule. We been visiting our friends on and off.
One thing I have noticed people get married they don't see there friends much anymore, always happens that way, just how life is. Sean & Becca got married don't see them much, Forrest & Mandy got married don't see them as much. Even us! Be honest we enjoy "US" time a lot more then going to see friends. But hey it happens just need to get over it. It Just happens like that, get the US time in before we have kids, speaking of kids......
No I am not preggers "yet" but if all goes well with the one more test in July then it will be baby time & I can kick all my meds for good exp if my weight is down where I want it :) ~ Less weight = healthier preggers for mommy & baby & easier too! ~ Also we been wanting to change a lot of our bad habits, not just for ourselves but for our future kids. (This is for those of you who THINK I am changing my hubby or he is changing me) WRONG! We are changing because WE WANT TO! We want long happy healthy lives for us and for our kids. We got rid of all the bad foods we eat & are eating healthy, quit smoking, losing weight etc etc BECAUSE WE WANT TO! We just make ourselves some goals and stick to it by challenging one another! ~ He's been smoke free coming up a year this spring, I been on track with diet/exercise for almost a year, we can do it! :)
Hubby & I are also coming up on 5 years, been awhile already, and you know we also agreed with one another many more years on top of it, millions and trillions even ; ) ~ So all you people out there that think/thought we where such a "Lost Cause" STFU! Get over yourselves. Your all one to talk with your marriages/relationships. ~ You guys are/where so called friends/family of the past & will remain there. We don't need your negativity! We don't want anything to do with you all PERIOD! Exp the ones Ive asked to be aunts/uncles to our kids, HA! Like hell that will happen now, found us some new friends/family that will take that roll because they deserve it & don't talk shit behind peoples back that are suppose to be "Friends/Family" Reason when I left Canada I left a lot of you behind, blog about this cry whine moan, we don't' care one bit honestly.
We are happy & have one another & that's how it will remain, I found my soul mate & my soul mate found me his soul mate, that wont change, we are everything to one another. Also helps a lot when our friends & family say we are the model relationship to them, like how my grandparents where the model relationship for a lot of folks too, We/I learned from them. Before we got married we said to one another, "Once and only once no divorce and no looking back all we have is forward", and that's exactly what we are planning on doing! =]
He said, "Naw, I just married the best & it makes me look good!"
He's just so awesome ^_^ ~ <3

I Have The Best Hubby Ever!
You probably are wondering why, do I need a reason he's just the best! :)
We been though A LOT in the last month, more so with Doc apps getting though the holidays, just so much going on!
Well December started out as it usually does, billions of Birthdays (mother in law, friends, mine, father in laws) - Well day after my birthday was my FIRST OBGYN APP! - This I have to be honest I wasn't looking forward too. I hadn't had a Pap in 10 years, I never knew I had to go every year, I never had any problems. Well turns out women are suppose to go every 2-3 years some every year, depends on the person. Well I took a deep breath thought to myself, what a WONDERFUL Birthday present to myself *rolls eyes*
2 weeks passed, we got though the holidays..... I got test results of a abnormal pap, I thought, wtf does that mean? OB told me we need to do further testing, I was like hm okay... week went by I was very worried to the point I started reading everything online, stopped working out, calling all our close friends the girls only of course (Amy, Ms Gloria, Kim, Mandy, Becca, My Mother in Law, Step Mother) I was like, " I am freaking out here " Finally the docs office calls back and says, "Well your test came back HPV positive" I was like, "WTF does that mean" At this point I was terrified! I started researching online, calling our friends. In tears, crying with all the info I read/heard. My step mother & some friends that been though there own HPV experience told me to calm down, after talking with everyone I finally felt a bit better.
Finally I had another app to get a conoscopy (If I spelt that right) - Now that WASN'T FUN at all !! - OB told me he didn't see anything to worry about after a hour maybe of poking around. He said there is 500 cases of HPV and 13 of them are bad/worrisome (Because if I got this info right those 13 are the ones that can cause Cervical Cancer) - The other 400 something can go away on there own by being attacked by the immune system or if it stays they just keep a eye on it to be sure kinda thing, but most men are the carriers of HPV and don't even realize it, the nurse told me, "Mine comes back abnormal every other year, so don't worry it happens to all of us at some point". WAS I RE-LEAVED! I was worried about not being able to have kids and so many other things it wasn't even funny.
But this is a few of many reasons why I have the best hubby ever! - He came into the room with me to hold my hand & keep me calm while they did the further testing, he told me, "Even if we can't have kids to me our life is perfect the way it is & I will still wanna be with you no matter what, I Love You & that wont change." - Thing is OB told me I can still have kids not to worry - The good news also is in 6 months when I go back for another test just to be sure all is okay, if all is okay I could kick my meds for good & we can start trying for a family. I am pretty excited as is hubby. July can't come soon enough! But don't wanna rush it :)
We got a lot of work yet to do with the house, down to the kitchen/basement as the last two rooms, I been back on track with weight loss since yesterday & I lost 1lb since, over 40 lost now & 15 inches, still got about 50-55 to go! :)
I am just very happy as is hubby, now to get on with our fav part of the day! - Movie/Dinner/Cuddled up on the couch :) - We are one anothers fav person we tell one another that all the time. I am truly blessed & happy to have found him, he's my soul mate & I love him very much!
Thanks Again Everyone for your thoughts & prayers means a lot to us, those friends that have been here for us your all the greatest, WE LOVE YOU GUYS! :)

Updates & Happy Holidays!
It's that time of year again when everything is coming to a close & a new year is getting ready to begin, I have to say this years been so so, not the greatest but pretty good none the least.
We had a lot of sad times this year, let's start back at the beginning....
Jan - Was a so so month, after all it was the one year anniversary of losing my Grandpa who was like a father to me, it was hard but we got though it, still hard today but getting by....
Feb - Month of LOVE! ~ Hubby & I celebrated our 4 year wedding anniversary, it was a pretty good month, cold out snow all that fun stuff but we realized out fav times are with one another watching movies & just hanging out, we don't need to go out places & spend a lot of money to have a good time. Each other is enough (and of course gaming with great friends)
March - Was a pretty busy month getting things still on the go with renovating, I was still not working but hubby is cool with that, so I had been working on the house & playing online games while hubby was at work & when he got home we spent time together. This month I had finally got into a clinic for some check ups, found I weighed 250lbs and 51 inch waist....
April - Hubbys BIRTHDAY! ~ Was another good month, busy but good :) Hubby also was told about a new job with 100% medical as a Security guard, like the job he was doing at the time but had more perks and the benefits for both of us and any kids we have, so he went for it.
May - Hubby starts the new job, great month, he can work 4 days a week 10 hr days, which is perfect, means more us time which we enjoy :) ~ Still busy with home renovation stuff exp since spring started some what earlier then normal :) But this was another sad month due to a friend of ours who passed away unexpectedly :( ~ We miss you William ~ xo
June - Hubbys Job is going well, my health been doing A LOT better, things are going well :) ~ Busy with renovation stuff still, going to be til Spring 2010.
July - Check up for me, things are going really well, busy month :)
Aug - BUSY - Hubby got all his gear for his new job, but sad month also, Grandma died, she broke her hip & pretty much gave up, we knew she did when she said she wanted to be with Grandpa, she passed in her sleep. :( ~ I couldn't make the funeral due to lack of funds since hubby started his new job, but Grandma would of understood.
Sept - still a busy month and sad times, Hubby & I spent a lot of time together
Oct - Busy month but the wedding of my brother in law Forrest & best friend Mandy :) ~ YAY! ~ Busy is never ending ; )
Nov - Busy month of Thanksgiving, work and house stuff = STILL lol. But good news is only rooms left are Kitchen & Basement.
Dec - Many birthdays!! Our family/friends: DeeDee, Mikeal, Vince, Mom, Dad whew many many EVEN MINE! It's been a busy month & sad around my birthday since I was so used to my Grandma calling every year on my Birthday for the last 28 years and then bam, no call. It was hard but got though it thanks to my wonderful hubby & friends :) ~
Been great month though, got some great things from Hubby, family & friends. Getting ready for Christmas, planning on Christmas eve with my father in law & his gf then spending the night at my mother in laws so we can wake the next morning for Presents & Breakfast instead of doing a Christmas dinner type thing.
This past weekend we did a Christmas D20 game with a TON of our awesome friends & I made ham, turkey and tons of other food (still have left overs) ~ After dinner we played KILLER BUNNIES & CAR WARS! ~
In between all the doc apps I been going to making sure my body is doing alright & be sure I am in check after losing about 45lbs & 15 inches, Hubby & I are hoping for a clean bill of health to see what we can do next before starting our family since we wanna have 4-8 kids um yeah we wanna make sure we are healthy :)
Hubbys off new years eve, we where planning to invite a few friends over for movies or maybe one of the guys at his work plan to do something, either way we can't wait :)
Also thinking of getting rid of the phone & going with something more simple, no one calls and the only time we use it is to talk with people about the games we play with them which is rare since we use the online method 99% of the time over Pardus or Facebook. We will only call people when we actually have something to talk about, no point on sitting on the phone & talking when we have nothing to talk about, hubby & I said that months ago :P ~ There is only a few folks worth talking to anyways.
We can't wait til the spring, comicon & friends coming in from outta town to go with us, more friends here to come with us, going to be very exciting. New year new things, hope good things exp with docs apps and getting things on track, I hope to be my skinny self I was by the end of next year since I only got about another 50-60lbs to lose at most. I have a feeling its gonna be a good year.
Only thing hubby & I want for Christmas is to get the news all is okay & we can start a family soon :)

Tired, Stressed.... Sick.....
Well this past weekend was fun, hubby and I spent alot of time watching movies & Farscape. Went to a comicbook convention Sunday, but the guy that sold us a comic cough'd & sneezed all over us then finally covers his mouth & says sorry. UGH! GROSS!
Now hubby and I are both sick, tired, and stressed cause we have alot to do on the house before spring, I know this cause his dad tells me everytime I see him which is like everyday & getting very stressful.
"You guys need to finish getting things done, getting rid of the junk you don't use and packing up what you wont use til you move"
and I tell him the samething everytime.....
"Yes I know Dad, I wanna get things done on Joel's days off cause it's easier having 2 instead of one person but it's hard to get things going"
I mean sometimes I have plans to get all this stuff done but when I see hubbys tired and wants to relax, I don't say anything ... why because he works all the time and deserves that time to stand still for a bit. I know his dad is wanting rush rush rush and get everything in motion but thing is, I don't even know if hubbys ready to get a new house & have kids sometimes, he says he is but actions speak louder then words. Some days hes great and things are going well other days he acts like a child himself getting pissed off over little shit, I think it could be all the stress from his dad, work etc etc, dunno. I seriously don't know if he is stressed at work or if he can handle his new job, I have no clue what's going on cause he never talks to me about it, everytime I ask how things are going I get the thumbs up but somedays I wonder....
Well today is free food day @ applebees for vets, wonder if we are going to go or not, suppose to have a double date with our new friends Joni (who did my hair for Forrest & Mandy's wedding) and her hubby Lamot (that works with hubby). They are really fun people to be around, we go over and play rock band, watch football and just chat up and storm and hear funny shit that goes on at there work. Which is people I like to be around.
Bruce is quitting drinking, Eric is quitting drinking alot of people I know are quitting smoking/drinking which is great. People hubby and I enjoy being around =]
So just have to see how the rest of today goes, hope hubby gets back soon, I am getting worried.

Samhain Lore (October 31st)
Samhain, (pronounced SOW-in, SAH-vin, or SAM-hayne) means "End of Summer", and is the third and final Harvest. The dark winter half of the year commences on this Sabbat.
It is generally celebrated on October 31st, but some traditions prefer November 1st. It is one of the two "spirit-nights" each year, the other being Beltane. It is a magical interval when the mundane laws of time and space are temporarily suspended, and the Thin Veil between the worlds is lifted. Communicating with ancestors and departed loved ones is easy at this time, for they journey through this world on their way to the Summerlands. It is a time to study the Dark Mysteries and honor the Dark Mother and the Dark Father, symbolized by the Crone and her aged Consort.
Originally the "Feast of the Dead" was celebrated in Celtic countries by leaving food offerings on altars and doorsteps for the "wandering dead". Today a lot of practitioners still carry out that tradition. Single candles were lit and left in a window to help guide the spirits of ancestors and loved ones home. Extra chairs were set to the table and around the hearth for the unseen guest. Apples were buried along roadsides and paths for spirits who were lost or had no descendants to provide for them. Turnips were hollowed out and carved to look like protective spirits, for this was a night of magic and chaos. The Wee Folke became very active, pulling pranks on unsuspecting humans. Traveling after dark was was not advised. People dressed in white (like ghosts), wore disguises made of straw, or dressed as the opposite gender in order to fool the Nature spirits.
This was the time that the cattle and other livestock were slaughtered for eating in the ensuing winter months. Any crops still in the field on Samhain were considered taboo, and left as offerings to the Nature spirits. Bonfires were built, (originally called bone-fires, for after feasting, the bones were thrown in the fire as offerings for healthy and plentiful livestock in the New Year) and stones were marked with peoples names. Then they were thrown into the fire, to be retrieved in the morning. The condition of the retrieved stone foretold of that person's fortune in the coming year. Hearth fires were also lit from the village bonfire to ensure unity, and the ashes were spread over the harvested fields to protect and bless the land.
Various other names for this Greater Sabbat are Third Harvest, Samana, Day of the Dead, Old Hallowmas (Scottish/Celtic), Vigil of Saman, Shadowfest (Strega), and Samhuinn. Also known as All Hallow's Eve, (that day actually falls on November 7th), and Martinmas (that is celebrated November 11th), Samhain is now generally considered the Witch's New Year.

Fun Fun & Moar Fun!
It's been months of fun since hubby started his new job, every weekend we get when he's off work we play our D20 games with awesome friends like Kevin, Jason, Bruce and when Vince & Kim can make it and Mike one of hubbys old Army buddies when he is on leave. It's just been tons of fun.
This month is full of gaming but also hanging out with new friends (in between renovation work of course lol), the guys from hubbys work. We get together once in awhile and watch football, play guitar hero and rarely follows with some beer.... Not enough to get hammer'd but just enough to get a small buzz (3-4 beers) which is good for hubby & I. We are not heavy drinkers like we used to be cause well it causes problems.
I like having new friends and old friends and some friends we just like to keep out of our picture cause well they caused huge problems and they are not there anymore permanently, so yeah that's where they will stay for good cause we can't stand them.
This weekend is a Grad party for our one friend she's graduating hair dressing school, gratz girl! We are going to head over for a couple hours to say, "Hi" and have some good food & good company. But we are going to have to leave early cause hubby works a double the following day, which is understandable.
The 31st our best friends Forrest and Mandy are getting married so when hubby gets done work that day, off to PARTY some more.
Well housework and workouts done now to play AION! Til hubby gets home then it's biggest loser night AND movie night over dinner. <3

Updates !!
Well it's now October 19th, dang where is time going!
We have been so busy with renovation work & getting things ready for the house to go on the market come spring time has just been flying by! Hubby and his dad laid the concrete yesterday in the basement, the gravel truck should be coming this Saturday to even out the backyard driveway. That way all thats left come spring is the upper driveway & another coat on the deck.
The last of inside that will be done this fall/winter is the Kitchen and Basement, and last touches on the master bedroom so I can move our room back in there, which I can't wait the spare room we are in now is SO TINY I am starting to feel claustrophobic, Hubby and I have alot of work still ahead of us, lucky he gets 3 days off a week but we are ALWAYS busy those 3 days, either D20 fun with friends (if he's off on a weekend) or renovation work or just having us time & enjoying it very much!
But we need to get back to packing shit up, already one side of the basement has some stuff we packed, basement is actually looking like one now instead of a storage bin of old room-mate shit from ages ago. I just can't wait til we are done & we get a new house, which looks clearer and clearer everyday, I hope I can find one like I did when I was looking around to see what was out there, I found a 4bed 2bath for 45,000. It was built in 2003. Very nice too. To bad we where not looking when I found it lol. I am sure something will come up : )
I also bought hubby a early Christmas gift, the WHOLE I mean WHOLE Farscape series on DVD. I found it at a local store for a pretty penny lol. But it was worth it, he is so happy. : )
I have more doc app's coming up, OBGYN see what she says about getting prego soon probably gotta get the rest of this weight off which I am trying but been very frustrating as of late.
Forrest & Mandy are getting married on Halloween, got most of our Christmas shopping done, man again time is just flying by!

Harvest Revel - Halloween Event! AION!
During the fall harvest, from time immemorial, the people of Atreia have celebrated the bounty of the land. Years ago, the joy of the annual revels was troubled by an eclipse - a peculiar and magical eclipse that brought darkness to Asmodae and Elysea. Ever since, for days during Harvest Revel, the sky goes dark and the peoples of Atreia join the hunt.
Asmodians find soothing peace during the dark days of the Harvest Revel. They celebrate by racing after the Wild Kurthanir hunt leader during the Wild Hunt and cooking special traditional dishes.
Elyos endure the dark days because during them the dead of Elysea are restless. Undead creatures rise from the grave every few hours, pulled back into a semblance of life by the power of the eclipse. Elyos must join roving Dark Night bands to hunt and destroy the undead before they invade Elyos villages.
Log in each day during Harvest Revel. Celebrate with us and every day rewards your investment with new Aion lore and tasty treats!
Harvest Revel
Begin: October 25, 2009
End: October 31, 2009
May your wings be strong and swift! We'll see you in Atreia!

~ Cleaned down the counter tops
~ Swept & Mopped all floors
~ Cleaned the carpet in the bedroom

Quite a few things really =)
I just got done eating a apple & a spoon of peanut butter, now I have my kitty on my lap, purring his ass off lol. We where to have a moving yard sale today but its TO COLD!

The bitch has returned
I said if people can't keep there promises to me, the bitch will be back
Well guess what....
The bitch has returned
Some days I dunno if I even wanna have kids or lose the weight anymore, it's a dream of mine ya but I just dunno anymore. Today I just feel worthless & not good enough, I assume they are two different things heh. But I don't feel like me today, I started thinking about my Grandparents today & how much I miss them, how much I want to call them and say HI but I know I wont hear there voices again now that they are both gone =o(
My day started out ... It was okay
Then shit hit the fan.....
~ Facebook wont load/work (thxfully I know it's not my end)
~ Cat puked on the CLEAN SHEETS I just washed yesterday
~ Browsed though my history folder, shows I can't trust anyone on my fucking computer
~ Now not in any mood to do housework/workout
~ My self esteem went down a few 1000s of notches
~ Remind myself no more video buying FOR AGES
~ Hubby gets no Allowance til the new year
Among one thing after another, I do hope hubby is having a better day then I am.... I also logged into City of Heroes yesterday cause of the free weekend/double xp thing.... yeah bored with it still.... no teams where going on, quiet and of course the usual sillyness, I think people that break promises are bringing out the bitch in me for good.
Tonight is my soon to be sis in laws bridal party, I am not going either.

45lbs Gone!!
Well hubby just got done 2 days off & we had a BLAST!
Watching movies, getting things cleaned up & renovation wise stuff, errands, lunch together, etc etc TONS OF FUN!
ALSO!
As of today 45lbs GONE!
I probably could of done more but I know I slipped up quite a bit with Grandma passing and me being very upset I couldn't make the funeral I know she would understand but still I ate junk food galore for a couple days and didn't watch my carb/cal count. I am still upset and sad shes gone but I need to get on track, we wanna start a family & have a big family so well you know!
I started seeing a new doctor too, he has me eating whatever just whole grain no giving up bread, pasta and rice and potatoes like that other doctor, but I have to keep it in moderation of course. I had fries the other day (small) from a diner we go to, with a turkey Ruben let me tell you YUMMMMMMMY! I forgot how good it tasted! Had Chinese while back to watched my counts of course, but had some Lo Mein YUM! lol. Feels great to eat this stuff again and lose the weight too! I hope this keeps up! *knock on wood* And things will go alright with my test results cause I hope by the new year or next spring we get the go ahead on starting a family, it would be great... selling this house for a bigger one, get the okay to start a family, be absolutely awesome! Here is to hoping!
Well as of today 55lbs to my goal of 150lbs but according to the weight/height chart it's saying my max ideal weight is 130-145.... I will just have to see what my doc and my OBGYN says. I did 15 miles on my bike in 45 mins the other day, have to see what I can do today.
I wanna get back in shape and fit like I was 10 years ago... I used to be skinny Minnnie but I had some muscle curves cause I hit the gym ALOT but I don't wanna go back to being that thin but muscle wise is good but that was to thin waist wise ... After I quit smoking (9 years ago) I gained 110lbs... junk food and fast food was my friend for cravings I gained that weight in about 6 - 12 months, having a ex-boyfriend who was lazy as fuck didn't help matters as well as friends that where on the big side too. Now time to get on track not just for me but hubby and our future kids so we can all have a long life together ^_^
Also having the support & encouragement from all you friends has been a awesome help too, thank you!! I love you guys! <3
